so this means the old Martlets are also uncompatible with DBW?
I still do not understand the problem completely - are the Martlets and for that part the Wildcats incompatible with British carriers or do they have this problem of exploding on US carriers as well?
because the wing fold process should be the same, be it Wildcats or Martlets...

so would leaving out Jero´s wing modifications cure the problem?

cheers

Yes, for now Griff. Take out Jero's wings for F4F-4 and MartletMkII, until we have a better fix.

Hello Bravo!

well, i just tried to frankenmod the Martlets :)
I took the original Martlets from CirX and copied over all stuff from these Martlets bar the Wing meshes;
I then tried a carrier scramble with 4 Martlet Mk1s and got the same problem as described, or as Rico from the Madagascar penguins would put it - KABOOM!!!

so it seems the Martlets do have a problem - or did I do something wrong?

EDIT: problem solution found;
Bravo, does this mean for the Martlets to take the original CirX mod and copy over everything except the Wing meshes?
or is it ok to take this mod and simply delete those eight troublesome wing meshes?

Phil, try deleting the 8 Mesh's first and then go from there, I tried to find the fix but still no joy in my DBW.

Griff, and RedFox or any body else having Exploding on Carrier problem with the MartletMkII, see first post for DBW 1.71 Fix.

Please advise if the fix works in your DBW. Thank You.
