Ki-10 "Perry": Revised for 4.12
« on: February 16, 2014, 03:10:01 PM »

The proposed mod is a replica of excellent Ki-10 of Tedeschene:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,19215.msg206710.html#msg206710

The mod was mostly prepared by Tarakan67, who honored me to propose it for SAS community.

The following changes were made in comparison with the original:
- Working tube gunsight in 4.12.
- IJA pilot model for Ki10(ja).
- Replaced default skins and revised markings. Now they are not doubled when IJA/IJN is chosen.

- Tedeschene for original mod of Ki-10
- Tarakan67 for cockpit update for 4.12
- Skipper for payload class help
- Archie 1971 for template
- Ton 414 & Beowulff for mesh material
- Freemodder for tutorials
- Stefan SG for new default skins and some revision of markings

Stefan

Please, would be possible to fix number of blades of airscrew when spinning? They are two, instead of three. The anomaly is especially evident when using, like me, Ton's Screenshot Propellers mod.

Thank you,

Just out of curiosity, does it still have the original flight model? I do not have 4.12 yet, in fact i still only have 4.10 still running. I never posted the Jung 28 I , there were only about 10 of them made so I didn't see the point. There was a transport version of the Ki-21 that I gave to somebody and I don't know what happened to that either.

Wot!!!! You had a working version of the Ki-57 and you haven't posted it! That's almost cruel  ;)

Could you please, please, please let us see it, test it even. There are many JAAF aficionados here!

I made it for Archie 1971 but I never saw it again. My old machine crashed for the count and I am not sure if I could get it out of the hard drive. I will try to retrieve it.

hello!

i noticed that the engine-flame hooks seem to be misplaced in this model. i don't know much about modelling planes and adding those specific hooks (the location where the flames / smokes exit the exhausts), but i know there are several mods that fix this for many planes, so it seems possible.

here is a screenshot to show the misplacement (taken in il-2 CUP with some additional effects mods)

maybe this can be fixed in a future update of this wonderful little plane?

cheers,

deci!
