Stalingrad - Typographic Map 1941

Quote taken from the internet:
"this map is from 1941 it was used as a military map in that year, although you will see in real time is 1937, but down in the right place is to note that the map is released in October, perhaps by the General Staff of the Red Army."

Seems to me that this map was used in war

BoS should have hired you for their map textures.
They may say IL2:1946 is obsolete and this and that but we have the Ju-52 for creating supply missions in and around winter Stalingrad.

I think IL-2 1946, will never be obsolete, thanks to you modelers and all other artistas, always have good novelties for the IL-2 1946.
no other simulator has many attractions and novelties, as our beloved IL-2 1946.

   Hello! I am a fan of Volgograd place and go there every summer. (sorry I am not so good in english if there mistakes). I tried to modify Stalingrad map for me but I don't have so more  patience as you. Yours project is great).
  And as  I live in Volgograd region every year for months I can say that your map is too green. In real it is at most yellow. In Google maps you can see. It can be green in spring. But battle of Stalingrad war in summer/ autumn.

   This is I am flying on An-2 near Volzhskiy:

Hi, yes, you are right, but these textures have to be use in large areas in summer/autumn. My color in map is really compromises between:
 good harmonization with trees colors (I could see man (witness) VVS who said - Stalingrad - it was green town, beautiful green town...before Hitlers attack)
 season summer, autumn
 good harmonization with other textures.
