Hi Boelcke, slight problem.  Ive installed everything and your campaign shows up in the pilot carer list, but when I go to set it all up (either german or allied ) and press create, I get a beep from my computer and nothing happens...Now im dame sure this is my bad! (it always is) im using 7.02 hsfx 412m and the strange thing also is nothing is showing up in the events log ....Any ideas?....Many thanks for the campaign and the fantastic skins...Gary

what campaign? RAF or Luftwaffe?

did you follow the install instructions?

please try again and post the content of the dgen_moderror.log file from the IL2 root folder here

any idea why when i switch to auto-pilot the ai brings me down to the deck and i always lag behind my flight? results in a lot of crashes

perhaps a conflict between other added mods?

Hallo to All !!!

First, Thank you Boelcke for your new campaign ( ETO and MTO ).

I noticed the problem above if I use the Me-109E-3, with autopilot on my aircraft fly low ( on the sea as a ..... Torpedo bomber !!! ) and very slow.

All OK with Me-109E-4 and Spitfire Mk I.

Regards.

Toro63.

@toro61 and DeerxBanshee:

i have double checked but don´t have this problem, do you have installed the plane data files for HSFX 7 with the up to date version V 1.1 like mentioned in the dl thread? availble here:

http://www.axis-and-allies-paintworks.com/download.php?view.853

i habe checked it with HSFX 7.01 and 7.02, both in normal mode

i shall double check to see that i have those files...pretty sure i do though

Well I dont know what those filles did Boelcke, but I now have all your fantastic campaigns working, many thanks for taking time out to help me (once again!) and also thanks for all the hard work you and the many other modders do in not only creating these campaigns, but for providing the support that comes with them...Happy modding

Hello Boelcke

I live in the north of France and I am very excited about this
new campaigns because now when I fight in the clouds
I can see my house and also my grandparents and my parents in their youth !
(my maps Westfront 40 and 44 are slightly modified accordingly ...)

However, I have a few technical questions to ask you.

In the french campaign I have added some planes :

H75_A2 and H_75A3 ( for this last one in the all planes data I changed the entry :
H_75A3;Axis;0;Germany;None;None;1;Fighter;None;None;Reconplane;1046;388;357;0;0;0
by this one :
H_75A3;Allies;0;USA;None;None;1;Fighter;None;None;Reconplane;1046;388;357;0;0;0 )

and everything seems fine. the campaign generator works very well.
Did I not make any mistakes by doing this ?

Also, can I add these aircraft in:
1939_ArdennesPlanes
1940_ArdennesPlanes
1940_DuenkirchenPlanes
and
ClassesFrBoe10 or over similar files ?

and finally, if you have some time to give me I would like to have some explanations
on the Planes files.

For for example in 1940_ArdennesPlanes :

"Allies   England      aTank         BattleMkII         300 2000 2000 6x250lb   1"

*Allies           : this determines the camp ?
*England       : this determines the nation ?
*aTank          : this determines the type of attack ?
*BattleMkII    : this determines the aircraft ?
*300              : this determines the speed of the aircraft ?
*2000 2000    : this determines the maximum and minimum flight altitudes
                        when the plane is generated in the game ?
*6x250lb        : this determines the loadout of the plane ?
*1                  : what determines this ?
                        this may be 0, 2, 5... perhaps:
                        0 = 2 planes generated ?
                        1 = 4          //              ?
                        2 = 8          //              ?
                        5 = 64        //              ?

it is all a bit confusing to me and I would not do anything to risk spoiling your work
so pretty that I greatly appreciate for many years.

Thank you in advance for your help, your good advice and the time you give to the community
of fanatics that we are ...

Best Regards, Thierry.

Thierry,

Explanations about Planes files are in the Manual attached to Asura's DGen Mod (pages 10-12).
In your example:
- aTank means player's aircraft attacking tanks
- 300 means cruise speed;
- 2000 2000 means en route altitude and attack altitude (for ground targets) repectively;
- 6x250lb means payload for mission attacking tanks (if you want use this same aircraft also for attacking for example ships you have to add another line with type 'aShip');
- 1 means flyable aircraft (0 is for AI).

Boelke,

Are you planning update your awesome MTO and WF campaigns with bomber subcampaigns? :)

Thank you Boelcke for this campaign!

I can´t make it work and I´ve got no error -log :(

I´m using HSFX v7.0 over v4.12.2. (SAS Mod Activator 5.30)
First I installed "DGen_MOD version 2.0.1.0 by Asura" (exe, dgen folder and the 4.12 three "All*" files)
Then I installed the "HSFX 7 plane data files for Asuras dgen.exe mod v1.2" (nothing got overwritten)
Lastly I installer "Westfront campaign for HSFX 7 - Prt 1 - Phoney war to BoB v1.0"

I changed the "DGen_mod.ini" file following your instructions:

[DGen_mod]
LogLevel=2
RandomFlights=3
MaxFLAK=40
AirIntensity=Medium
GroundIntensity=Medium
MaxBomberSkill=0
CampaignMissions=Normal
CampaignAI=Normal
CampaignLength=Normal
CampaignDifficulty=Normal
SlowFire=1
PromotionRate=1.9
Language=English

Launch Il-2 and create a new Luftwaffe campaign.
Pilot Career -> New -> Luftwaffe, *Boelckes Westfront..., Oberfeldwebel and click on Start button.
After that the game goes to the "Main Screen" :(:(:(
And I´ve got no error log or whatever could give me any clue to discover my error.

Any help?

Thank you in advance!

HSFX mods used:
-HSFX history mod
-Perfect Map Textures
-Hakenkreuz Enabler
-EXPERT Mode
-#SAS Gore
-#SAS Guncam tracers
-#SAS Mission Pro
-#SAS New Mod Wheels
-#SAS Cowling engines
-#SAS VisualMods
-#SAS FOV Mod

Boelcke I was wondering if you plan on making a '41-'45 for the western front using HSFX 7.02? Awesome work!
