Thanks for the reply Boelcke :)

with dgen campaigns it´s not possible to change the player unit, only the aircrafts are chooseable - in my campaign the Spit is availble for the player from the Dunkirk part on

Is that a feature/restriction of stock DGEN or could it be changed by Azura in his own DGEN?

it´s a software limitation from stock dgen.exe and now also from Asuras mod

Just a thought about that (perhaps stupid), I never tried it.
But, let's say: you start a german campaign in 1940 for JG2, with West campaign from Boelcke. Then, later, after the BoB etc, you wanna transfer on East front in June 41, flying with JG51. What about just create another campaign for the same pilot, and copy/paste all the folders that match him into the new folder of your new campaign, I mean: number of missions flown, kills, awards, etc? So you start a new campaign, but with your own log saved. M'I wrong?

Boelke,

Any thoughts about releasing a version of this very exciting looking campaign for TFM 412?  I would love to play it, but am unable since I made the jump to this new version.

Hello -

First off, I would like to thank you Boelcke, for these wonderful campaigns and missions. They are EXACTLY what I have been looking for!

For anyone having the BEEP issue, I re-install of Il2 solved it for me (sorry).

On to my question: My briefings remain in Russian while my rank is in English. Things are set as they should be in my Configuration file:

Conf.ini --> DGen --> Language=English

Does anyone have any ideas to make everything be in English?

Thanks
K.

Hi there -

I am having a problem with the 2nd German Fighter Pilot campaign. It gives me a warning saying the maps is not available. I have no problem with the 3rd mission around Dunkirk. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
K.

please try this, i´m not sure but perhaps it will help

for the "no maps in file" error i don´t know, it may be a problem with the mission files, but it´s hard to say as Asuras dgen.exe mod has still some bugs, i´m just waiting for an update of his mod

Here you are, Boelcke.  I was looking for you over on the 242 website.  First of all, thanx for this great campaign.  Everything well laid out.  Just a few minor suggestions if I may:

1. vertical separation between flights in a squadron.  AIs are very stupid and there will be a lot of mid air if the formation is too tightly packed.  I tried 200+ meters separation in the .mis file.  It seems to work fine
2. Possible or any plan to extend the campaign to battle of bulge or later for this campaign? It'll be great to see the war go from beginning to the end. :D
3. Any plan to create a similar campaign for the pacific theatre?  I guess the issue is there is no good Philipines map for USAAF in pacific.  The stock campaign is lacking the scale and immersion.

Also, for those folks having beeping problem when trying to generate mission.  Try reinstall Dgen mod.  I think the dgen mod on A&A website is somewhat outdated.  Go find the Asura's dgen mod thread in this forum and download it from there.

thx for your remarks pandacat

concerning 1: I don´t have any influence to the AI behaviour, flights and formations
concerning 2: Yes, Battle of the Bulge will come but not yet, summer is coming and i need a break from campaign building, real life is more important atm
concernig 3: PTO is Juri_js´s area, he is comtinious developing PTO campaigns since years, check the A&A page, i´m more than occupied with ETO - it´s already more time consuming than i had planed :)
