Or a high rez image of a piece of marble is very useful to simulate ice on rivers.

Not yet.
I have about 20 high rez winter textures. Before I make them available I will include some edited load.ini's of default maps like Moscow Winter. So you can see straight away how it looks in game.
Till sofar I have had not much time in swapping textures though.

damn I`ve got it already but it not work in my 4.12 MA 5.3 with Carsmaster HD mod and I dont know what I doin wrong ....

'Cause Carsmasters HighRez mod only works on modded 4.09/4.10.

so on MA5.3 there no map with such nice hi rez ? not good .. but Cyberolas RRR map are awsome too but these 2048 tex looks amazing ... chrs

'Cause Carsmasters HighRez mod only works on modded 4.09/4.10.

Carsmaster's HR mod is working perfectly here on HSFX 7.01 (over 4.12.1)
