We already have some awesome Albatrosses and their derivatives, but it is never enough when it comes to such popular aircraft.
L-39ZA is armed and upgraded version of L-39C capable of carrying up to 1290 kg (2844 lb) of payload, including provision for a GSh-23L canon. It, along with with similarly armed L-39ZO, participated in a multitude of recent conflicts (and is still actively used in Syria).
Development of this aircraft for Il-2 will require just a little bit of work, it is essentially the same L-39C by Aviator Mod Team plus 4 pylons with weapons from latest Soviet jets.
Weaponry:
To sum up, L-39ZA in Il-2 can have following loadouts:
GSh-23L + 2xfuel tanks 350L (inner pylons)
GSh-23L + 4xfuel tanks
GSh-23L + 4xUB-16-57U rocket pods
GSh-23L + 2xUB-16-57U (outer pylons) + 2 fuel tanks (inner pylons)
GSh-23L + 2xR-3U missiles (OP)+ 2xfuel tanks (IP)
GSh-23L + 4xFAB 100 bombs
GSh-23L + 2xFAB 250 (IP) + 2x FAB 100 (OP)
GSh-23L + 2xFAB 250 (IP) + 2x UB-16-57U (OP)
Same loadouts, but without GS-23L canon (simulating L-39ZO)
4xFAB 250 bombs
2xFAB 500 bombs (IP)
2xfuel tank (IP) + 2x FAB 250 (OP)
Technically the only part that requires 3d work is a gunpod. But!
I saw that Glynn already made the needed gunpod.
It probably means that all we need is some java. Right?
