I can load the corsair mesh now. I can see parts on the left side of the screen. The render window shows the sky and the groundplane but I don't see the plane itself. ....  ?

You change the view distance with the mouse wheel and you can rotate the view by clicking on the display with either the left or right button and dragging.

Are some of the check boxes in the treeview selected?

Yes, I can navigate the render window. I can tell because of the ground plane. And some boxes are checked. The checked boxes change as I select the cap meshes or the damage meshes, but I still don't see the plane.

What is your graphics card?

Clutching at straws, if you can see the sky cube and the ground plane then the only thing I can think of is the shader isn't loading.

I have a Samsung i7 laptop with a discrete graphics GPU (a Radeon HD7670M). Also ofcourse then an Intel HD4000. I have this problem with both GPUs.

Both GPU's look fine.

I'll have a think and add some debug code.

Actually I do see something. If I turn on the shadows there are a few polygons visible.
I'll post a few screenies, but it will have to be tomorrow.
Anyway, Cheers making progress :)

Great news Stainless. New version downloaded and worked just fine. Got some of the errors you have seen (null value in tga) so tried a few different him files. Just chose an aricraft to download and test randomly (He-219 V5.1) and other than some missing textures files, the model loaded fine and all the functions seemt o be working a treat. I was able to see most of the animations and could toggle meshes. I think this is going to be a very useful tool to the more talented builders out there!! Thank you and look forward to whatever else you can or may add to this.
