Hello guys, to those who have downloaded this set of aircraft I owe you an appology, I forgot to set up the java and a cockpit folder for the aircraft with enclosed cockpits so you will only get the open one as pilot, the external view is ok though. :-[

I guess I was having one of my gormless moments, it is my age, I am prone to them frequently. :D

A fix will be uploaded tomorrow, Sunday, if all is well. :)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

This is cool.  A few years ago (July of 2009, back in the AAA/AAS days), I released a Mod for the TB-3 with parachutists, cargo boxes and "secret agents"... that part of the mod works well (I also released as a superpack here at SAS with other mods I created)...  If there is anything in those mods that can help you, please feel free to copy, plagiarize, etc... it is all for the benefit of the community.  It works with 4.09 to 4.12.  You can find it in the following locations:

Skin-folders for TB-3s:

\ IL2 Shturmovik\PaintSchemes\Skins\

TB_3M17_A
TB_3M17_B
TB_3M34
TB_3_ANT6_34

Series TB-3c is almost completely compatible skins from the TB-3.

Regards ;)

Thank you for the link UberDemon, I missed the original mod so will add this to my collection. 8)

There is now a new link in the first page to rectify the absence of the enclosed cockpit versions. ;)

Post edited to reflect latest update:

These still retain any of the issues that were present in Bison_Ms original upload to his thread.

In the original thread an alternative B-24 cockpit was available which fit much better, however the cockpit controls did not work, if you wish to use that then please see the original Bison_M thread for the link and copy the contents of that cockpit into the folder ANT_6 that is in my download.

I have opened up the cockpit class from one of the B-24 mods but unfortunately was unable to clear the errors I encountered when I opened it in my eclipse set up so for now you only have the current working option, sorry.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Hello guys, I have yet again updated the link in the first page, the second today. ;)

The aircraft with enclosed cockpits now use the B-24J cockpit insted of the previous version by Bison_M.

Thank you very much to the author of the cockpit and the DBW 1.71 dumped cockpit classfile for the B-24J. 8)

Oh! I wanted to ask about that and didn't mix up SSP folders with the main plane's folders to be more easy to remove. And it's very great to hear that you will add them! Thank you a lot! :)

Glad you like them UberDemon. 8)

Hello guys, there is now an update in the first post that corrects the bombsight view for the 4.12.2 version, previously I had tried to use the one folder for all aircraft, however 4.12 does not seem to like that and the FOV of the scale was not as you see with the sim default TB aircraft, this has now been put right by allocating each aircraft a Bombardier station of their own.

Previous view:

Updated version:

These aircraft have now been added to my full stationary planes mod for those who do not want to use the SSPs:
