If my befuddled mind is right the install directions are on the first page. Perhaps reading might help answer any and all questions. Any problems you are having now can be answered on ether page one or one of the many other pages for the tfm-412 next level.

Post your log and then maybe we can find out what the problem is with the Crimea map.

In the future it can easily happen that your error report disappears if there isnt a log attached. ;)

Hello guys, many thanks for your help! first things first:

@Draken: if I disabling Crimea folder my problem still remains. As I said a large number of maps not works, but many others works right.
I am looking to resume the entire set of maps working again.

@kingsley: by search box I found a reply on page 118 of this topic by EntropicD https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,40015.msg476861/topicseen.html#msg476861, but it doesn't works.
First I disabled #TFM412-16_Map-Pack-2, then I disabled #SAS_Water=4 by Carmaster and at the end I activate again #TFM412-16_Map-Pack-2, but still doesn't works, so I believe this is not a right way to solve my troubles...

@vpmedia: I apologise for my log lack insert... :-[. Below I post my log file and a screenshot when Crimea map starts. Is an odd fact: sometimes, when I change map in QMB, but I don't start mission and then I select again crimea map the mission starts as per in screenshot...the map above the 109 is the sky, the plane is in level flight... ???

Hello guys, well, I apologise for my mistakes about Crimea map troubles... :-[ I delete all TFM-412 and I restart to install it. After each step I tested the game and all worked fine. I always made a test flight on QMB and Crimea map: always worked good.
When I started to set the packs, Crimea map troubles start after install #TFM412-01_MAPMODS! I get UP-SFS files by my DBW-TFM. My DBW-TFM works very good.
I downloded and reistalled again the #TFM412-01_MAPMODS but still the same problems.

Somebody could help me, please?

Have you seen my post 1424 on page 119 of this thread. If you have done everything right, I am puzzled as to why you cannot get past #pack1. Have you started with a totally vanilla #SAS folder?

Hi Gents I have the same problem as Grecian 13. Put the Carrier Wings mod on and now Il2 refuses to star.  Deactivate it and it goes. 

Grecian how did you go when you downloaded if afresh?

I really just want the mod for the D520.

Any suggestions?

Hi Bergkamp, many thanks for your kindly reply and your suggestion about #SAS clean vanilla folder.
As follow is the installation I performed for TFM-412 The Next Level in a dedicated folder; after each step I tested the game and next I will report the results. I always tested the game playing in QMB by Crimea map, and sometimes I tested Crimea map in FMB also:

•   IL-2 1946 4.07m: tested and working. All ok.
•   IL-2 4.12.2m mega patch: tested and working. All ok.
•   SAS Modact 5.3 for IL-2 4.12.2m: tested and working. All ok.

At this time I checked both new #SAS folder installed with SAS Modact and the clean vanilla #SAS I dowloaded, and I believe both are identically. This is my opinion and in this case I have mantained the SAS Modact ones.

•   SAS AI Flyables 5.30 for IL-2 4.12.2m: tested and working. All ok.
•   SAS JSGME Options for Modact 5.3x: tested and working. All ok.
•   SAS JSGME Options for Modact 5.3x_Hotfix_001: tested and working. All ok.

Then  I added the UP-SFS files. I get these files from my DBW 1.71 TFM.
Also in these case, after each sfs files group I tested the game:

•   UP_maps01-05.sfs: tested and working. All ok.
•   Updbw_mapex01-08.sfs: tested and working. All ok.
•   Up_textures01-01.sfs: tested and working. All ok.
•   Up_object01-04.sfs: tested and working. All ok.

Then I added the various mods by JSGME, excluding #SAS_VisualMOD8 by P.A.L. and #SAS_Water=4 by Carsmaster, the first because I don’t like it and the second due to troubles reported by EntropicD to this link on page 118 post 1409: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,40015.msg476861/topicseen.html#msg476861 .

After each mods I tested the game and all worked very good untill install #TFM412-01_MAPMODS.
In this time also I had the same problems with crimea map. In QMB the maps did not load and the mission failed. The same things appen in FMB also but…I noticed in FMB there are Three crimea maps available: Crimea_summer, crimea_winter and crimea_mud. I have tested all three and only crimea_summer failed! Crimea_winter and Crimea-mud wors fine; I created a little flight with a Bf-109 in both the maps and they works fine.

So I checked the mapmods folder in the #sas folder and I noticed I have just one crime folder, not a folder for each map, summer, winter and mud. So I suppose the game try to load a map does not exist or  it has been renamed. Beside in the file “All” Crimea_summer is  crimeaload.ini…etc (sorry, I don’t remember the correct syntax..).
Next days I would try to correct Crimea_summer name to Crimea in the “all” file (after save it in original…;-)), but I don’t know this will works…

Hi Marco,

In my MapMod folder I have one folder for Crimea and within that 13 sub files (static/load/tga/text). In my _tex folder there is a folder "EAST" and another sub folder "Crimea" with its various TGA files. My load.ini files looks like this:

I know you are not a novice installing mods, so please do not think I am being patronising but from what you report, everything looks ok and I cannot see why you should still have a problem getting past the first TFM412 pack.

One other thing. Apart from AI Flyables, do not activate any extra mods that came with Modact5. It may be nothing but I am sure I read somewhere that the BigCloud mod by Manysh can have an adverse affect.
