Load.ini error,
La_chute map can't load maps/tex/water/pacificBlue.tga  I had a pacificBlueTL.tga in the proper folder so I copy/paste to make one named pacificBlue.tga but still received same error.
update:
Ok, The La_chute map is working after my rename, I just had to exit the program and restart the sim (DOH!)
The Reno map gave me the same problems with the whc_jungle.tga texture but i got that to work by backing up the file, copy/paste the whc_JungleTL file and renaming it as whc_jungle.tga

iirc with errors like this you need to use OpenGL graphics mode

Hello Everybody, I'm new here but I'm following this marvellous work since about 6 months.
First of all a big, big, big thank for all you do to make IL-2 more beautiful.
In this case a special thanks to Monty.
Maybe this is not the specific topic but I noticed some bugs in my mod, I updated until TFM-412 -33 and I have 4.12.2:
Someone else in the topic dedicated to Modworx/ships has already notice the same problem about AI planes that not land on carriers. I did some tests but any kind of planes and in any kind of maps they land on carriers (jets, pistons, etc...).
I don't know exactly when it occurred, I notice few days ago.
The other problem is about the impossibility to take off from maps such as Malta, Slovenia or El Alamein...I noticed that someone else in the past has reported this problem as friction mod compatible with 4.12.
If you can help me or if some of you have the same problems please try to solve it.
Excuse about my english, I'm italian...
Thanks and bye.

Does anyone know how to restore the stock "perfect" water textures??

thx
c

For those of you interested, I figured out my water texture problem.  It's from this folder:

:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 4.12TFM\#SAS\MAPMODS\MAPS\_Tex\water\animated

The water reflections at sea level just didn't look right on my CPU, could have been my card not sure.  So what I did was disabled the "animated" folder with a " - "  e.g.  (animated) to (-animated).  The "perfect" water texture is now back to the stock version and all seems to be working well.

Hi
And thanks for this outstanding and all the fantastik work you have put into this TFM 412 The Next Level.
Would like to menthion a small thing I come aboute. Have some strange 3D tree's (objekt) on the Crete map and R-Dessert map
in TFM 412 The Next Level. Se images, Have fliying and made FMB-misson's with The New-TFM for a long time  without these effekt-s on the same maps.
Can't see to have no other problems than that with TFM-412 The next level.
Anywone have the same? Could I do something aboute it?

In an attempt to help...
It would appear the black transparency background of certain bushes and trees are not being rendered as transparent.  This could be many things, video card settings, format of the texture, video rendering buffer memory over loaded or even the rendering data of the textures.
I will check my maps to see if I have the same problem but that is basically what is happening.  Many  textures for bushes and trees and stuff are actually 'square' in image but everything that is not supposed to show is set to black and is supposed to be transparent in the display.
