its a very perfect mod pack but i have a question. why it's an old version of the F4 phantom in the pack mod?
is it possible to install the 1.40 version ? like this https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,40856.0.html

for the simple reason that the 1.40 update was released after this pack was built.
as much as we try to put many mods into the pack, we have so far been unsuccessful in putting mods from the future into our packs....

as long as you back up your existing folders first, there's no reason why you can't add the updated version. follow the instructions and you'll be fine...

When I download the first map pack, the game loads in but when I click QMB it freezes on me. I have a fresh Il2 install with Modact, 4.12 and Up Sfs. I tried to play FMB and the maps worked fine on it, any way to get QMB to work?

Hello,

Just to make sure I am doing the install correctly...Once the 27 or so TFM412 files are downloaded and put into the jsgme foder, within jsgme I should see a file mixture of #SAS...and #TFM412..., correct?  Does it matter if the #SAS or #TFM412 files get activated first, as long as the #TFM412 files are activated in order?  As I mentioned above, I was getting mission load errors:landscape when loading any single mission or campaign mission. I have 4.12, modact 5.30 with flyable AI and the required map, texture, and object files from my DBW install.  I am redoing the TFM412 downloads and checking for d/l errors and typos in the maps all.ini as kindly suggested by kingsley, and repeating the entire process. I remember the original TFM and NTFM istallations as seemless and simple.  Trying to figure out what I am missing.

One other thing I noticed is that the file sizes in mediafire and the actual d/l files are different.  For example, TFM412-01_MAPMODS is listed as 472.48 MB in mediafire, but downloaded as 472 MB.  Only a few files sizes matched exactly.  The others are off only by the decimal points.

Thanks,

I tried to be too clever and screwed up my previous version of TFM so I decided to start from scratch again.
I installed a clean version up to 4.12.2m, SAS Modact 5.3 & AI flyables, and UP-SAS files from up_maps01.sfs to up_objects04.sfs.
I then installed the TFM files in strict numeric order into jsgmemods before activating them in order in JSGME.
I tested at each stage but new planes etc. do not appear in QMB.
In my previous install all of the planes appeared in the SAS file but now I have the TFM files (up to #TFM412-07 AIR-262's at present) listed below 'SAS and above 'bin'.
If I go into the TFM file the 00_ files for planes are listed under 'SAS' but in my previous installation, they all transferred directly into the SAS file.
Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong, please?

I have issues with fps. Installation went smoothly.  But fps are really low. Any mission, any map if there are more than 10 planes it becomes slide show.
Same missions working just fine in DBW

Hello,

Can someone post what the JSGME folder is supposed to look like when all the Monty 412's are extracted into it, prior to activating them and what it should look like after activation?  Thanks.

guys, the map pack 2 is uncomplete.

I downloaded three times now and it says that with the crimea_summer map, it needs the SL_blabla_8.tga file. I downloaded it from another source.
The second map is benghalli. It asks for SrbijaDrvo.tga, but the rar file only has SrbijaDrivoTL.tga. I renamed the ini file and all is working well now. going to look for other problems

EDIT:

Okay, finally got it working. Renamed al the entries to DesertTreesTL.tga etc. and eventually it al works now :)

Thanks for the great package!

problem with the #TFM412-11_AIR_EXTRA
« Reply #1367 on: September 02, 2014, 04:58:15 AM »

Hi guys.
Sorry for the question. I'm pretty sure it's a newbie one, but, believe me, I've try to solve it before annoying you with it.
I've try several times to activate the #TFM412-11_AIR_EXTRA, followed the steps one after the other, but every time I activate this one I get a CTD after the 20%.
Reinstalled everything again, even downloaded again, but every time I'm unable to activate the one mentioned, without getting the CTD. With the #TFM412-10_SHIPS installed the Sim runs flawless, but after activating #TFM412-11_AIR_EXTRA, CTD..... :-(
Thanks a lot in advance.
