Well it looks like I've created my own headache:))

Finished with patch 37 and it looks like a few of my add on aircraft are not working.  Same thing freeze at 29-30% when loading aircraft in QMB

AC-130
SB2C-5 Helldiver   Fixed
SB2C-3               Fixed

The rest of the C-130 and Helldivers load up fine.(see my air.ini above)  This is above my paygrade again:))  Not sure what patch 37 changed but maybe these aircraft are not fully 4.12 compatible.  I picked them up at "freeil2modding" and couldn't tell by the posts if they have been updated for 4.12.

These aren't the aircraft you provided with TFM Monty so it's not your headache, it's mine:))

c

Update:
SB2C's are 4.12 compatable.
did not come with any instuctions for planes.properties or weapons.properties

Update2:
Got the SB2C's to work.  apparently it had to do with the "skins" folder.
what I did:

-added a "SB2C" folder to the skins, this folder came with one of the SB2C versions
-In QMB I clicked the button to the far right of the selection screen that gives you a preview of the plane
-selected the SB2C-5, than launched with no problem. same with the SB2C-3.

still working on the AC-130

No worries - with regard to these aircraft you must edit your Air.INI, Weapons_Ru and Plane_RU from the original readmes.

It is awkward though - not on their own but because we have so much other stuff in there.  I would really love to include these in TFM-412 and have worked very hard to approach people and to persuade them to take part and be more inclusive.  Its not about about credits - The credits on this thread are the most extensive anywhere on any internet thread.  We will keep trying...

Love this mod!  I have it fully loaded to #37 through the jgsme, and all seems normal.

Tried to play a scenario with the B-24J mod as a target, but the game seems to freeze whenever I use that plane.  I tried other scenarios with other B-24s and other bomber killers, but the only one that caused the game to freeze was the B-24 mod.  Has anyone else noticed this?

Just curious.  Weirdly too, I can fly the B-24 J mod on another minimally modded 4.12.2 game with no problems.  Just wanted to know anyone else's results using that plane and a TFM modded game.  I have nothing enabled that didn't come from Monty.  And I have 1-37 in order.

EDIT:
Ju-87A Series removed for the time being.  I apologise for the inconvenience.  The Torp problem took up too much attention while I was working on this at the same time.  We can sort it out later I'm sure but for a clean working pack right now, and forward compatibility, please junk your old one and take the latest version of:

Update 3
The AC-130 CTD or Lockup has something to do with CY6 AC-47.  The original AC-130 used the CY6 AC-47 model or something like that.
CY6 AC-47 also locksup at 29-30%.  When I deactivated TFM 37 all was well again.

Also monty:
in the 00_Ju52SG there's a subfolder "cod" with strange characters in it.  What's that about?

These look like a couple of classfiles inside a Russian Translation folder.  Very tiny in size and fine to delete!  ;D

Dear Monty,

I try since a long time to send you a personal message but unfortunately your reception box is full.
So I address myself to you here. However be yourself sure that it is without any idea of polemic. ;)

I have just updated your version of the game "4.12 TFM" because I was screeching halt at: 4.12 TFM 27.

Indeed, with my current work on the maps "Can_Channel 40 and 45" as well as on the map
"Bay of Biscay" I had not had time to go beyond.

I am now at the latest version of your game and I really appreciate what you do.

But I notice that by incorporating my mod "Can_Channel_revisited" you have failed to include the mod:
"AIRFIELDS_CAN !!!!!!!!!!!!" that was associated with it.

I repeat it again: It is absolutely necessary !!!
And if you have read the last personal message illustrated with examples in pictures
that I have sent you, you will easily understand why.

Otherwise my work would have no sense and would be completely denatured !

Without this mod here is how look the airfields:

This is absolutely inadmissible for the player and especially for myself, as you will agree !

So I ask you kindly to integrate the mod "AIRFIELDS_CAN !!!!!!!!!!!!" in your version of the game.

I hope you kept this first version, which was granted with the first WIP version of my mod
"Can_Channel_40_41_revisited" ???
(I do not have this first version because since my work has evolved and is now over ...)

In the opposite case, it should therefore include in your game these three mods to replace the first:

https://www.mediafire.com/download/079di7qf7ibst43/!!!!!!!!!!!!AIRFIELDS_CAN_17-11-2014.7z

https://www.mediafire.com/download/fueda788t7pqaa3/Can_english_channel_40_41+%26+42_45_revisited_12-11-2014.7z

https://www.mediafire.com/download/hggyqih8puei21p/Biscay_Revisited.7z

this, so that the player could benefit from a "clean", "finished" set of maps and that my original work
should not be distorted.

I know, your assembly work is not easy. It demands a lot of time and concentration.
So in that sense, please accept, Monty, the expression of my best regards.

Thierry.  ;) ;D

One question I would like to ask, would the Ju-88 nightfighters ever be added to TFM? There is no need to patch it up to 4.13 anymore as you guys filled it all in!

Deleted the old TFM#37 and added the new TFM#37 and all is well again.  All my add on aircraft are working fine.  not sure what the problem was with the old one.

Sorry guys, any ideas about troubles described below?...

Hello guys, just a little question: I started a campaign with IJA and I fly with Ki43-1a. I noticed some troubles, eg. throttle, mixture and propeller levers moves right and left instead forward and backward; indications of flight instruments, as anemometer, vertical speed indicator and other are inverted, eg when I dive vertical speed indicator shows climb rate... Someone else has had this problem? Maybe this troubles already solved otherwise there are solutions?

Many thanks for your help.

Ciao.

Hi Thierry

I don't have this issue, I wonder if its related to SFS file usage, or something I overlooked.  However, I will immediately reinstate the airfields as you suggest so that everything looks as it should for everybody.   :o

From what you say we should be able to display both sets as your rebuilds need to reference the original material.  I'm sorry for the error, I really don't have the issue on my machine but will do as you suggest right away.

Now that you have completed the Bay of Biscay too this will be a wonderful update.  Thanks for your excellent repaints,  they really look superb.  ;D

Thanks for the links too, will get the new updated package together ASAP!  ???
