All of this work will very soon be redundant.

 Cheers,RDDR

Hi RDDR
I know that TFM is being made redundant, What about all the campaigns for TFM, will they still work in the new CFM?
Can't wait for CFM to make it's appearance ;D
Keep up the good work you guy's, and it's ready, when it's ready . ;)

Lordy, I really hope those campaigns/missions work.  I sometime have a hell of a time getting them operational and it would kill me if they all "went away".  Haven't seen a response to your post though.  Maybe no one knows?

No worries Bob, the whole point of all this is for skins and campaigns.  Soon as CFM is out next week we can get back to campaign building and skinning.  Old campaigns will be patched to the new level and downloads will be small.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Actually it is a lot more than TFM-412 + fixes, the latest goodies are also in there and its all crunched down to SFS.  The final testing and packaging is being done thoroughly and is on course for release very shortly.  I'm not trailing or hyping anything here, just trying to help people save a little time and download space.  :)

Cheers Monty, Can't wait for CFM, TFM was good, but a right pain in the ass to download and install correctly, (for me anyway ;D)

Two things:
1.) I have finallyfound the mod that has caused my carriers ( at least my WW-2 carriers)to disappear under my planes( literally the planes start the missions in the water...sinking!)...its a mod that has worked just fine with other modded installs & so I've added it without feart in this massive install but was never able to figure out that it was the cause for my frustration ,over & over again& so I kept adding it ( without thinking...) and,...well you get the idea.It is the Planes on Deck mod & its tiny in what it does but nice: it adds a coupkle of Corsairs & a tractor to the deck.Nice touches I think,but somewhere there is an issue that goes away when this mod id disabled .I know pretty late in the game to make this observation and again my fault for not figuring it out through testing, but I figure it might be of help to a few others following this thread & anxiously awaiting the new improved Full Monty due in the near future ,which is a nice segway to:
2.) Where will the new & improved version   be announced ? Here in DBW World or perhaps elsewhere?Anyone know where we should perch like vultures?
Thanks! ;)

Hi Bob,
My apologies for not getting back to you in good time.As Monty said, we will be patching
the existing campaigns up to CFM standard. Not to worry.

Might be called paranoia in my case in case you haven't noticed.  I walk a very fine line concerning the game, whether I have managed to screw something up or not.  I figure there is probably no one on this forum who appreciates the loading screen progressing past 70% the way I do.  It means I won't have to bother you smart fellers, at least for a while.  Thank you for your info and reassurances.

Oh I hang on the 70% with gnawed fingers as well.

The other image imprinted on my retina is "Mission Loading Error".

I am quietly nervous that all my missions will work without editing when CFM comes out!
I feel your pain! - Honestly, missions are no problem. - We might even start a new campaign/mission thread.  In the event of mission crashes/failure to load etc you need to establish, then patch with an editor, the following: Map names, Plane names, Object names.  Better still: open it in FMB, re-construct then save fresh.  Either way, CFM has so much more in it, along with all the latest 412 tweaks and code, that old stuff is going to look really dated and crying out for the new makeover.  Looking forward to rolling up our sleeves and getting on with it.

The main thing is that CFM takes 10 Minutes to install!  There are only seven Mod folders (before Options are added) inside #SAS so you will get a very clean install upgraded almost instantly.  The effect is to de-mystify the process and take some of the guesswork away.  It is user friendly, quick and painless!   ;D

Less than 2 weeks, grab yourself the CFM Users Manual & Credits.

Hello Simon!

I knew why I spared my first post here in the new year for something special :)
let me be the first to say WOW after getting that manual :)
that is a work of art - all those screenies make me want to fly a little more IL2 again, as recently WOFF took away most of my limited flying time;
I am looking forward to getting my hands on CFM, that looks really pretty comprehensive and should be the best reason to retire my heavily modded newTFM/4.10 install;
just one question though, I have to admit I just flew over what is included in CFM - will the USN Light Carriers be in CFM as well? I did mostly carrier flying before I switched to WOFF in autumn so I want to start again where I left back then :)

cheers and a heartfelt big THANK YOU to you and your Hangar19 team for all your work :)
