This is all just beyond description. I have never been a jet type, except for those Korean War scenarios, but I am going to be changing my mind, I suspect. Thanks to everybody involved.

The magic of Il2 Mods, and the beauty of CFM, is that you can draw a straight line from the Tiger Moth to the Hornet and fly them all.  ;D

This is one reason for which we use TFM / CFM in FAFLV!

May I ask you something : is it possible to install available french aicraft as Potez 630, Potez 540, Bloch 174 whith CFM?

Anyway, thank you for everything  ;)

These are all great planes although it is not currently certain how they will perform in the 412 CFM environment.  However, as soon as CFM is out you will see that the #SAS folder is very slim and ready to accept such experiments.

CFM comprises several sets of SFS files and, last of all, the CFM-SAS-UPDATE, which will always provide a complete backup for the entire #SAS folder up to the latest stage.  Therefore; it should be safe enough for any of us to try out some other aircraft without the #SAS getting choked up and always with a safe fallback position.

From Manual Page 26, last paragraph:

Q-I am a complete pussy and only play with QMB or DGen. I have never tried to build proper historic
missions with the astonishing detail of the new 412 FMB. Is there any hope for my sim-flying career?

A-Of course there is always hope! Grow a pair and get into FMB! Good FMB campaigns and missions
are the heartbeat of Il2/1946, the best ever combat aviation sim, and many more should be enjoying
this side of the creative process. Get online and start to research or open up some of those books you
haven’t looked at for a while. (I shall, of course, put my money where my mouth is)...

That's right!  I'll be building proper historic missions with the Me262HG-V series and Arado Ar-234B-3!!  Yeah!!!  :D

Monty... you *really* need to get some proper rest after your release CFM...   ;)

aaaah hell, you know what I mean, if you can't have fun with it... ;D  Actually I do love SWOTLs as well and the CFM 412 QMB Upgrade will follow the main release too.  So everybody wins.

CFM is seriously designed for FMB above all else though - Here are some features Marcus and me counted during testing over the weekend:

...Expanded TFM-412 Maplist all working and continuing to develop
Expanded Planelist Over 800 Flyable Aircraft
Expanded FMB Over 200 new Ships and 70 Aircraft Carriers
Expanded FMB Over 5000 Static Objects
Expanded FMB Over 670 Stationary Planes

along with Wingflyr's amazing high quality 3do vehicle upgrades and loads more groundcrew and equipment by Tomoose...  8)

Monty

Brother - thank you very much for your work and passion for IL-2. May I ask for clarification regarding CFM? I have been reading through the CFM Users Manual and in the section regarding Ultrapack SFS files prior to install (page 8), the Ultrapack SFS files are followed by:

Comprehensive 3D Fixes:
- 3Dfix Cowlings & Prop by PA_Jeronimo
- 3Dfix 3D Engines by Wolfighters & PA_Jeronimo
- 3Dfix wheels by Barnsey12 & PA_Jeronimo
- 3Dfix LOD Engines by Birdman
- 3Dfix P-40E 3do by ROCK
- 3Dfix Wolfighter's Pilots
- 3Dfix All Default Vehicles by Wingflyr
- 3Dfix Many new FMB Objects by Wingflyr
- 3Dfix Many new FMB Objects by Tomoose

VP Media's Map Upgrades
North Korea v1.41 by CY6
Midway Late by 242Cat & Bombsaway
MaxTheHitman's retextures/new objects for FMB

Since it follows the Ultrapack SFS and I do not see anything that may suggest that these have a separate requirement from the SFS files - I'm reading this to mean that these are also required to be installed prior to installing CFM.

No problem with the Ultrapack SFS files, just want to ensure that I have the above files installed before I install CFM if that is required.

thank you
