Simple question - as I too am preparing my new install, will we also want to install SAS AI Flyables 5.30 along with SAS Modact 5.30? Since it was needed for TFM, I figure it may be needed for CFM as well.

thank you

What actually ARE "SAS AI flyables"?

I know where the download is: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,37662.0.html

... but not what I am actually downloading. I can't see that defined anywhere..

SAS AI flyables refers to the ability to enable stock IL-2 AI-only planes to be flyable (like the MS406, MS410, Morko Morane, B-17s, B-24, Bf-110C series, A5M4, etc, etc).  If you only install SAS Modact, it does not enable AI planes to be flyable, only if you use that.  With that said, no, you do not need to have this SAS Mod enabled to install CFM, they will be flyable.

As name suggest, "SAS AI flyables" allow you to pilot AI only planes. You don't have to worry about that, they are automaticly activated by CFM.

LOL, UD was faster than me  ;D
