What time is it in Australia? At least 12 hours difference with Europe, right?

Australia is such a big country that there are three time zones (not allowing for summer daylight saving, which some backward states still refuse to adopt because it will fade the curtains!). Monty lives in Adelaide, which is 10.5 hours ahead of GMT, currently 11:30pm on Saturday 24 January in Adelaide. Tick, tick, tick.

Gran Canaria is 600 sq mi ( 1,560 km2 ) and Australia is 2,969,907 sq mi ( 7,692,024 km2 ). You just need to use math.

This anticipation reminds me of the old days when Oleg released the Mustang, or was that the Spitfire? When it finally posted up, it was like an elephant stampede from a Tarzan movie.

Nope, this time, communications have been exemplary: I am hoping that Team Daedalus have been observing and will adopt a similar strategy re 4.13.

This was from Monty to me a couple of days ago:

'Naah that ("by the weekend") is only a guide, between now and Monday, depending on a few more checks between people who are all over the globe.  I will post it though.  Its a long weekend here in Australia as we celebrate Australia Day on Monday but actually begin to prep the barbies and eskys, about now actually!  So I will have plenty of time to get it done in between beers.  ???'

We just need to trust what he says, chill out and live a bit outside of IL-2 until CFM arrives. Well, try to at least - I too have just come back to the forum in the hope that it has already been published! Monty still has about 36 hours!
