Gran Canaria is 600 sq mi ( 1,560 km2 ) and Australia is 2,969,907 sq mi ( 7,692,024 km2 ). You just need to use math.

Holy Molly, in that case we won´t try to invade them!  :P

Might be a good time now-they're all sozzled at their barbecues. You'd have Canberra taken and they mightn't even notice!

Monty take your time!  Even if it takes a few weeks more I won't be disappointed.  I appreciate the effort that Monty and his testers are making.  They are making every effort to thoroughly test it and and make it as bug free as possible ... so we have the best experience they can deliver.

We don't want another Cliffs of Dover (CoD) experience, where it wasn't even playable until several updates were released ... and even now my version of CoD is in hibernation.  I'm using a modified version TFM-412 with all Monty's extensions (up through #38) for my "flying" experience and I'm looking forward to CFM being even better!!!

I've taken up CLOD recently and I'm really fascinated with it and still flying IL2 1946. I'm just a man in love with two women ....
Enjoy the waiting time .... With this ...

CLoD with Team Fusion mod + IL246 with CFM, I love me a love triangle.

Yes indeed. And maybe IL2 BOS and ROF. How many can we handle?

RoF, I can do on a rainy day, but WWI isnt my cup o tea.

BoS, I would rather sit on tacks. Its going downhill fast sadly. Wish I could get a refund.

But I digress. Looking forward to a new install of CFM. Now hurry up and wait. :)

At the moment the focus is to continue crunching and retesting over and over again as we want CFM to be the very best.  We are all very confident that this will be the case as Simon, Marcus and I  have always set a very high standard and are not willing to settle for second best.

The result will be much tidier and more importantly, the very latest updates compressed and ready even for the TD413 patch.  Better still, we can remove all previous dependency so that this is a one stop install with everything in there.

We have integrated many new mods - the very latest - and prepared the ground for later patches too, so that CFM is rock solid.  We still have a fair bit to tidy up, more than we estimated earlier.  If you saw the totality of the code we are dealing with it would blow your mind!  But we have a firm handle on it and really are on the final straightaway.

We all understand that there is a good bit of excitement on this Forum and a lot of you have many questions, most that can be answered as Simon has been doing, however I have offered to take up some of the slack and answer questions when I am able to as well.   This will enable Simon to continue with his shakedown testing and crunching which is as you know, is all in the nature of Modding.

Every time he pops up to answer questions it takes him away from his concentration.  At this moment it is a critical time.

I'm sure he will probably disagree, but nevertheless...Please be patient folks.  CFM will get there when it gets there.

Soon!

Please try to lighten up a bit on the tick,tick,tick.....

We have never let anyone down before that I know of...

"Please try to lighten up a bit on the tick,tick,tick..... "

I think "tick, tick, tick" is a lighthearted joke, not to be taken seriously - a bit like "two weeks for sure" - and not meant to put pressure on anybody or as an expression of impatience. What you guys have embarked upon is a massive task, something which takes up a huge amount of time and resources, and I know from experience that you would be reluctant to release your "baby" until you are satisfied that all is ready. So take your time and don't feel pressured by others.

Besides, its a long weekend here in Aus and no time to play CFM - international cricket to watch, sailing on Sydney harbour, and BBQ's to attend!

Make no mistake no one is rushing or pressuring the team , all comments Im sure are meant as light hearted ribaldry.
This a massive undertaking which is greatly appreciated, we owe you three guys and all who supplied the mods a huge THANK YOU .

And as a time frame the Oleg "two weeks" is so elastic it can stretch around the world twice.

Look forward to this release when your ready to release it.......... :)

No hurry at all. That CFM will be "...ready even for the TD413 patch" shows clearly this is a most long-term project, so we'll have plenty of time to play it.
