Not sure how many out there use the little music mod that Monty provided with "The Next Level" I just wanted to take this opportunity to commend him on his excellent choice in scores and sure hope he adds one to the upcoming "CFM".  As always, his work is superb.

My guess is CFM married to TotalModder so you can have quickly loaded separate profiles for WW1,SCW,WW2,Korea,Vietnam, etc.

Not quite at this time, however I worked on TM integration with the never-released CFM, and was going to have the steps for the community.  When the new project gets released, if it is not integrated from the get go, I'll help with the profile.

Just received comms from Monty, so I thought you would enjoy:

"[...] the project is alive and well, very nearly complete and we are talking weeks rather than months."

He did add a Grin emoticon, but I decided not to quote that... it would not capture the majesty of the original.

I did read parts of this discussion, but except packaging everything neatly and in better format, saving space and loadtimes, will CFM or what is turns out to be be much different from TFM-412, which is already a titanic modpack contentwise? I understood it to be a practical update paving way for the future?

OK - I have a TFM412 issue.

History:
- I had installed files 1 - 26 via a manual install (JGMSE too slow) w/ no issues
- After it was clear that CFM will be delayed I d/l'd files 27 - 37
- Manually installed and IL-2 failed to start - specifically it went from the small SAS splash screen back to the desktop

OK - so I wiped out the #SAS folder and re-installed all weekend up to file 26 - NO issues
I then backed up the #SAS folder and plan to go file by file testing after each one is copied over
I just did 27 w/ the patch and will move on to the next file this evening

So...anyone have issues after loading the 28-37 TFM files?

Barkhorn

if it crashes again (returns to desk top) try to see at what percent in the lower left of the splash screen it crashes at.  Also, i dont remember the exact TFM #s, but a few of them needed to have the next TFM # installed for the sim to load.

I to had problems like you alluded to, but I can't remember at what point it happened in the process.  Heck, I can't remember for sure what I had for breakfast this a.m.  I do, however, as creature says, recall that after I enabled, slowly, "all" the mods (and tested each one), everything magically worked.  I don't guess my comment will help you very much with your game's loading issue, but misery does love company, and so I wanted to tell you I can appreciate your concern.  I'm certainly not smart enough to fix much.  These smart guys in the forum have always done that for me, and I am certain they will do it for you.  Good luck.
