I thought there was already a ski-version for this aircraft. (?) Perhaps it might have been
a diferent airplane. I can´t remember now.

According to wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fieseler_Fi_156

This is the version you just created...
Fi 156 U: Anti-submarine version. Identical to the C-3 with depth charge. (produced in 1940)

and this is the other version...
Fi 156 C-5: Addition of a belly hardpoint for a camera pod or jettisionable auxiliary tanks. Some were fitted with skis, rather than wheels,
for operation on snow. (produced in 1941–1945)

Why don´t you use the other small round-gas-pod as a camera-pod type. For aerial recon flying?
That way, you can still use both types of pods you first started out in your experiments! :)
You can have 4 different versions in one simple to install mod-plane.
An anti-submarine version, a winter ski-version, a long-range recon with extra gas-pod, and a special photo-recon camera pod version.

Great idea, it makes a lot of sense for one of these to have a drop tank.
