Last step is to re-open the mission in FMB and add an observer plane to check it out:
You can see my test is a bit rough, and my river waypoints need some fine-tuning, but with a little bit of patience it definitely can be done. Once the river waypoints are merged, they can't be moved in FMB - which is a bit of a pain - but once they
are right you can save them as .txt files and re-use 'em as often as you want.
