I sure don't know what I'm missing, here, but when I installed this in my DBW folder, and added the lines to my air.ini file, I got a 70% crash  to desktop. Anybody have any ideas?

You are using the wrong flight model. Open your Whitley Bombers main folder, it will contain a sub-folder named -410-DBWfm.

Open that sub folder up and copy the flight model named Whitley_FM, paste it in the Whitley Bombers' main folder over writing the existing one.

I've got problems getting the markings to show on the MKVII -  Its only got one overwing roundel and nothing else?? 'Markings on' makes no difference - is this normal??

Yes it is normal, plane has no overlay. What is needed is additional skins which I am sure a couple of the talented skinners here are working on.
