However, I noticed a bug with the hood. Is the problem known or is it just mine?
I have the same issue, 412.2 SAS 5.3 .
The
open canopy for all yaks does not cover this particular yak, but have such resulting effects on it.
My
first solution was to
make it not be seen to open.
( I do not use this option anymore.. I use 'third' solution instead )edit plane hier.him:

second: correct air file. I don't have needed java tool.
(...with some LaGG-3 with similar issue, I had success using their 413 class files in 412, to resolve.)thirdly:
use my visual trick. ( However because of following
erratic behavior: i.e. the canopy
relocates itself, then opens.. )
If this solution is use, all pits start open.
AI stays ever open. Your own plane behaves OK once open has been used.
This statement is true to engine-mod 2.8.7, that keeps all pits closed on spawning.
Untrue to engine-mod 2,8,20 that spawns all possible pits open. Ai will then proceed the same as your own plane. Very OK
for all. I use this.[Blister1_D0]//edit

Note all attaching values of both entries are changed. First entry, U must add the "Hidden". [Blister2_D0] is the entry that should follow these two.As a mod: reply #36
