Thanks for the anti Fokker scourge!

Even if I'm scourging in a Fokker!

I've spent since lunch time re-installing DBW, trying combinations of air.ini placements, and other stuff. Nothing worked. So, I'll wait until it goes in a new patch. I'm sure it'll be worth waiting for :-)

cheers

David.

Love the new cockpit! This is one of the true jewels of IL-2 1916!

I've waited for this one forever, one of my favorite WW1 aeroplanes, finally takes wingover the front!

Thanks a million Kant!

Soon I will build this DH-2. I'm talking about buying drawings of the original, in a year with the help of ALLAH I will begin the construction of this fine machine

You mean you want to build a real life DH.2?

Why not, It is entirely possible. I mean luck at these crazy guys from NZ who are building all kinds of WW1 aircraft on demand.

This is that site: http://thevintageaviator.co.nz/vintage-aviator/vintage-aviator-ltd
Try to ask them for drawings first. Tell them that youre inspired by their work.

There's also WW1 Aero magazine, for people who build ww1 replica airplanes. I'll upload the issues I got in pdf.

Epic Idea Kant! Good lock with your project!

I've always thought it would be awesome to build a full scale flying example of any WW1 aircraft. My personal choice would be any of the nice pushers, like the DH-2 but my absolute favorite is the beautiful Bristol Fighter!

Believe it or not, a brotherly friend of mine, who's living in the USA, near the place where the Battle of Endor was filmed (Star Wars episode VI The Return of the Jedi), is building a Savoia S.21. His Project is well documented in facebook. His name is Jean Luc Mauriat.

So yes, definitely, building flying replicas of WW1 and other "Golden Age" aircraft is IMHO something great!
