This would be good addition to IL2 and I could have fun messing around with this plane.

I sure would like to see it come to life again  ;)

Bombsaway was on to a great start with this mod.
I believe he has just returned to SAS-1946 after a long vacation.

Thanks Max. I have been thinking about this. I will need to find some 3d help somewhere to remove the radio man's window, close that hole in the model and reshape it a bit so I can put the second top turret where it was historically.





 I have just about everything else done.

Thanks To Barnsey from the FM site this YB-40 will live! This project sat on my hard drive for years and when I asked Barnsey for help, he didnt hesitate.

Mike " SAS~Storebror " steped in and helped with the HSFX pits I wanted to use but I kept getting error when trying to recompile them. He also edited the classfile to make them a bit tougher, I think all B-17's in game could use this as they were famous for the pounding they could take and make it home. He also made it comatible from 4.09 to 4.13.
