Request: Partial Ammunition Loadouts
« on: May 20, 2014, 02:31:12 PM »

Dear All,

I would like to make request for a Mod that allows mission building with varied ammunition amounts. Below is the original text from The Lounge thread I started by way of explanation.

I don't really understand the mechanics of how the game would handle this, but I think that it is worth discussing/experimenting.

Any opinions welcome.

Regards

Glynn

I recently posted a request for this on the M4T site under the TD wish list thread:

'Is there any way of having varied ammunition amounts in mission building: not just full or empty. This would make follow-on missions more viable. Fuel can already be set like this. Many pilots flew multiple missions on any given day, and depending on how desperate the situation was, the amount of rearming would not always be complete or specific calibre available.'

I would like to know if there is a way of editing the .mis file to alter ammunition amounts. If not I will make a mod request. Thought I'd ask first!

Many Thanks in advance!

No, unfortunately that's not implemented.

If not I will make a mod request.
That'd be the way to go since currently ammunition amounts are fix-coded in the java classes.

Best regards - Mike

Many thanks for the clarification Mike: looks like I'll be making a request then.
