« on: May 21, 2014, 04:28:50 AM »

Request for Israeli F-4E , basically a  F-4E with a air to air refueling probe and a default skin, Maybe a new center tank the one in game looks too big.

I have a plan to remake B/D/E/J external 3D with moving refuel probe(receptacle)/its working.
It will need more 6 - 12 months.
In that way, I can add IDF F-4E with static refuel probe.

We have the F-4Es in the FreeFalcon theatre ITO2, which I tested and made the skyfix (lol, minor mod) for from 2009 to 2011.
I can dig up the loadouts, rest assured, they are historical.

But not today. ;)

I guess basical loadout AIM-7's + AIM-9's (dunno the models), with addition of 1/2/3 DT's. And sure it used the bombs. But I'll tell you from the pictures on google :)

So - there is no much pictures with loadouts, but as it seems it used at least normal dumb US bombs. From wiki I learned about using AGM-68.

As a temporary solution rather than adding a new recepticle and all the hastle that would involve in making the 3D, might I offer a second request
to adapt the existing model to fit one of the available tankers in the game. ;)

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=40461.0

I have been able to alter the java of the F-84 Nuke to except this tanker, there are currently three classfiles for it so that it will also
except refuelling from the Franken KC-130 Hercules as well as using its default for the KC-29P.

The only problem with it is that you have to change the classfile depending on which tanker you want to use.

I have asked in the school if it would be possible to adapt the F-84 to except all three tankers, picking up whichever is in the mission, however,
no solution has been offered as yet as to to whether this is possible because anyone with the ability to do this is currently snowed under with existing projects.
I have also asked if it is possible to have two hose and drogue setups working on one aircraft instead of only one that is available at the moment so that the
Franken Hercules could be adapted.

So, to get back to the main point of the post, would it be possible for those involved in the mod of the in game Phantom to actually take the code from the
F-84 Nuke and add it to each Phantom classfile so that at least it could use the Franken KC-97?

This would obviously create the same problem of having a spare set of classfiles as per the F-84 but at least offers an interim solution.

I have tried myself to break down the classfiles of the Phantom and Skyhawk and try to add the existing code from the F-84 Nuke, alas, my java skills
are fairly rudimentary and all I get are errors everywhere that I do not have the ability to reconcile. :'(

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
