Author Topic: Will it be skinable or do i have to start again? (with picture)  (Read 1550 times)

(Its an A-7s nose by the way)
I hope you can see what i did here but if you don't:
Basically the air intake and the cockpit are two separate tubes(the bottom one has a flat top) and altough they are one object they are not joined together rather just sinks into each other. Of course further back(not on the picture) they are one piece becaouse i made both of them from the same tube(fuselage).
Its weird because when i made a skin for the 3rd gen Fishbeds i think i found something like this on they back(the big bulky part that goes from behind the cockpit right to the rudder(fuel tank by the way)) and it was a complete nightmare at least for me.
So the question is can i leave it like this and move on to the next part, or should i do something with it to make the nose one single face without sinking into each other?

Of course it will be skinable - remember -You are the one who select the polygons during the mapping. And you can always regroup as you wish polygon into elements (mesh edit/detach to element) before mapping
