well the first race was more of a test, we are still trying to figure out how to propperly indicate what kind of a turn a pylon is, be it left hand or right hand

i suggest using those racing pylon objects that are available, one is red/white, other is blue/white - this might make it easier?

we had the same idea, but with the performance of the unlimited racers, it is really difficult to differentiate between the colors at high speed, but it is manageable if you fly atleast one lap as practice with someone who already has flown the course

well, it wouldn't be hard at all for me to edit those pylon tga's, so that they are either all red or all blue, or all whatever color we like.
that might help?
either way, i'll make some alternate versions with part of the FAC objects pack that i'm planning ;)

Fuck, wish I could also fly, get always the connection timed out message, despite firewall deactivated.

Old story, IL-2 never worked online from my connection, Falcon BMS did.  :P
5 EUR on the "second network card issue" pile.
Thorsten, if you wish I can talk you through.

one note gentlemen, we are flying Air races in 4.12.2 because we can use proper unlimited class aircraft such as the GeeBee mod and the P-51R racer over at the FM site: thank you Cwatson and Barnsey12 for this

And the GeeBee

The race was more like crashing and doing extremely low passes (...ghost...) but we did do 1 serious race  ;)

i'm going to dig through my dusty old mods - actually, missions from the old days when IL2 mods was just a daydream for us, lol - but some really amazing templates for races, with complete tracks laid out and everything.

YOU crashed... FMJ jinxed me once and got away with it, other than that, I didn't mess up at all.
As for flying low, I'm lower as low can be... :'(
