I agree that the Magister flying was great. Thanks for leading that flight. Too bad skylla's Magister wasn't airworthy (still wondering why...), but he did a great job flying that slow with us in the MiG-17 later (until he stalled hehe Flat-Spin of death).
Also FMJ's Mossie-performance was to be noted. He couldn't hold it for long, but nevertheless great stunt!

That was some amazing flying on everyone's part. It was a beautiful Battle of Britain flight until we had a SMALL mishap. Thanks to everyone who participated.

The BoB mission:
The only red plane was doing a fine job for a quite long time

This weeks formation session (#3 ):

As we were only 3 pilots (PvF, FMJ and me; Gubi flew separately with trim only - he did a good job btw), we weren't that serious...

We decided to make a '46 Luftwaffel theme, and PvF and me were already in formation when a black dot appeared in front of us, coming closer ... and closer ... and much closer ... much more closer!!!



but what looked like a crash at first was a very very close fly by both PvF and FMJ survived without any damage







FMJ had had much luck this session: close fly by over the airbase just as Gubi spawned some metres away from him:



not so much luck this time...



after I landed my plane successfully without any fuel left ... FMJ doing FMJ things ... BOOM ...



... but he got what he deserved! (a good gambler always keeps an ace in his pocket )



you're trying to use my tricks against me?! I don't think so, old friend ...



After that, PvF build up a formation with me...



...just to take vengeance for FMJ!!! 
Vitamine! I need you here! Those two made an alliance against me!

Today on Gubi's new Okinawa Mission

BK flew a Zero from the south base and tried to shoot a hellcat:



Although he hit it a lot it would not come down, forcing Bk into a discussion with Gubi about these scheiße planes on the mission (which was quite funny to listen to  ). After he ran out of ammo, MIDNIGHT killed the last USN plane with his tilted cannon:
