Take a different look at it:
You run into my bullets and I have to swallow the negative points for this.
I think you owe me a couple of beers :P

Wonderful? YES. Mess? ABSOLUTELY. Although I think the Battle of Britain flight was pretty awesome.

Another day, next player featured.
We're at last sunday's session again, "Japan45 blue 001" mission, featuring "Blaubaer".

The images are resized to fit the boards, all images of the set can be viewed in full size (up to 8K resolution) unedited in the regarding Flickr album at:
http://flic.kr/s/aHsk3rTW6K
or as a slideshow at

or just grab and view them offline

Blaubaer taking off for his first sortie on this mission.
You might have noticed this already: Blaubaer is renowned for his crazy skins, including pilot skins:

Engaging the first Hellcat...

...target destroyed!

Getting back to the base.
When you look close, you can spot a few other clowns here.
In the upper left area, app. 1/6th from left/top there's "bb" leaving the base. He's hard to spot since he's got his feet wet.
Following him, above the left end of the runway going from right to left, there's "Skylla".
Slightly above Blaubaer's right wingtip you can see "bomberkiller" returning to base.
Right above the runway crossing there's "Gubi" sitting in his Nate, watching the children play.
Right below him there's "Storebror" who just got back to base and is leaving the taxiway to the left.
Last but not least, following Blaubaer's left wingtip way to the bottom of the image, you can see "Ghost129er" waiting for RRR to finish. He's hard to spot since his lights are off.

Sweet landing:

Waiting for RRR.
In the background you see 2 static AI Dinahs, "Gubi" sitting in his Nate and "Storebror" leaving with his Tony after RRR:

Taking off again for 2nd sortie:

Engaging a P-51:

Even though there's no visible damage on the Pony, apparently the controls have been cut.
This is the victim milliseconds before impact, with Blaubaer watching in his Tony in the background:

Target destroyed!

Taking off for sortie No3.
This was a near miss caused by "Storebror" who didn't wait for the runway to be free before taking off:

3rd sortie, engaged a Lightning, elevator cut:

The Lightning is going down in spirals, flipping over but the AI pilot managed to bail out.
When you look close, you can see him right below the plane:

Returning from the sortie.
In the background you see a couple of static AI planes to the left, "Rapace" taking off in an Oscar from the taxiway left to the runway, and "bb" crash-landing his Tony right in front of Blaubaer's nose:

Leaving the runway. You can see "Rapace" is airborne and "bb" smashed his Tony:

4th sortie, engaged another Pony which is going down smoking:

Another Pony engaged on the same sortie. Blaubaer successfully cut the rudder off that plane, but the AI pilot eventually managed to run away from poor Blaubaer:

Back to base. In the background there are a couple of AI planes, "Gubi" in his Nate and "Storebror" in his Tony right behind Gubi.

Apparently after sortie no.4 Blaubaer didn't wait for the refueling to finish, because on sortie no.5 suddenly the engine died.
This was the attempt to emergency land on another island's road:

Mission end, clowns aligned for screenshots.
Top left: Blaubaer (there was no Tony left on the base, so he had to pick a Nate)
Top right: Bravo
Bottom left to right: bomberkiller, Skylla, Storebror, Gubi

A big story about a pilot with rather poor skills. - Thank you Mike.

But whenever they talked about him, they always had a slight smile on their faces.. And that, perhaps, maybe your answer.
