Those sessions are just too early for me, so it probably do nonsuit your timezone when it suits me. But it sure something I miss

Now that we both live in the same timezone, let me tell you that while the sessions start a 3PM GMT (4PM our time), they usually last until something like 10PM at least, so you can always join late. Yesterday for instance the last mission took place at 11:00PM - 0:30AM. Should be late enough

Actually I can join before 18:00 most times and after 20:00 most of the times. Yesterday I just forgot it, I was supposingly going to fly a event in SOW server cod. It is the only cod flying I do. I am not flying public server anymore. And the server broke down. So I had a aviation free sunday evening.
I am on my way to mod my clean 4.12 install for offline use, and keep my UP 3 for online game. I think you will find me a bit more active.
BOS and COD is just a fragment of what old IL 2 modded can offer, you get pretty fast fed up with it all.

We've been seeing more and more players lately, having more than 10 players on our sunday sessions regularly and even during the week the server often sees a couple of players on training missions.
I think we maxed out right below 20 players so far, something we might beat during the holidays.

I see a lot of movement and interest from new BOS players never been into sim before. So I personally think we will be here many years. I never believed that a little over a year ago. It seems we wont be getting any good alternatives

Another day, next player featured.
We're watching the FAC session on sunday December 21 2104, "FAC_Goodenough01_1943" mission, featuring our hungarian fellow flyer "Mad" Mad026.
Mad is making us mad with his amazing IL-2 skills: He's flying with keyboard only all the time!

Taking off for the first sortie of the day, A-20G, 12x100lb bombs (10 internal, 2 external on wing racks):


Leaving the airfield, in the background you see "bb" performing a slightly unorthodox takeoff:

On the way back, some japanese fighters pick up Mad. First Zeke, shot down by mads gunners, smokepiles and splashes is all what remains of the enemy.
In the background "Storebror" is crossing the scene some thousand feet above:

"Storebror" was called for help, did turned around and let his gunners dewing the attacking Zeke:
