In the Bf 109 E-Series one serious thing is missing: the ammo counter for the cannons like in Cliffs of Dover.
Actually it is there and can be seen in the left bottom corner of the instrument panel but it`s only a dummy and not working.
I had a look in the cockpit packs made by Greif, Wüstenfuchs and Anflug but it is not modeled there.
In HSFX the Fw 190 A Series has an ammo counter for the MG FF whichs works perfectly. Maybe it`s possible to take it from there and implement it in the 109.

real ammo counter of the Bf 109E: the counter only was for the two cannons in the wings (MG FF or MG FF/M). The two MG 17 in the fuselage didn`t had any counter. When the weapons were loaded and operational, all four lamps on top were turned on (Fl. stands for Flügel = wing; R. for Rumpf = fuselage)
"dummy" ammo counter in Il-2 1946 (it`s HSFX 7, they use Wüstenfuchs Bf 109 cockpits. I think):

And FINALLY this is how it looks like in Cliffs of Dover. The first picture is not perfect though, of course the lamps have to be turned ON and glow in a red light (it is changed since the latest TF-patch; compare with the second picture which unfortunately is of bad quality, but at least you can see the four red lights glowing)
If anyone could implement it in the game this would be great.
