Thanks for sharing.
The story "German Pilot escords US Bomber" was new to me.
Just saw the short video... uhm, not sure what correct words to choose... I was deep impressed (tear on cheak) to see that much courage and honor.
Thank you.

This isnt WWII, but just to see an old War Bird flying in our time and life, is such a grand sight to see.

BTW I fished in that Lake the Fort is flying over, and my PickUp Truck broke down 6 - 7 miles east of Hoover Dam returning from Temporary Duty at Nellis AFB Nevada, "Green Flag". That was a bummer man.
The USAF Bus who carried some of the Maintenance crews was behind me and they picked me up and took me back to Luke AFB Phoenix Arizona, go figure, lol. I was very grateful to the Bus Driver.
P.S. Im moving back to Arizona in July.

This Pilot is not just Flying but landing without a tail and Rudder, in a huge Jet. Excellent stick work.

Lol, I told some of yall I worked a very short time on BUFF's, well this B-52 is one of the ones that our Sister Squad had at Barksdale AFB LA. Hence the Tail Letter's "LA"
http://www.military.com/video/aircraft/attack-and-fighter-aircraft/inside-view-b-52-night-mission/1783697976001/
Im glad I didnt have to work on them full time, I was a Fighter Life Support Tech, not Bombers.
