B-25 sounds from Catch-22
« on: June 10, 2014, 04:52:22 PM »

My request is simple: Can someone put the sounds from Catch-22 for the B-25? It's by far the best source (3 different engine startup noises, regular sound and flyby sound. All are in the first 5 minutes of the movie. Please?

I really have no clue what that means. I don't understand anything about sounds...

sure does, but as Fly said, you don't really get the sound of one plane's engines alone at any point. it's a whole bunch of them starting up together, so as cool as it sounds, i don't think it can be used for our purposes... :(

well, maybe, but i'm no sound technician, either, so best to wait for a sound guru to chip in.

errrrrm, why not just have that sound as an airfield ambient sound? The aircraft will of course have their individual sound, but in a mass take off, how are you really going to tell?

Because I'm not a sound modder. Hence the request.

Fly, I can't get it to work. I've tried placing it in the SAS, and My_Samples folders, but nothing happens. What am I supposed to do?

Maty, I'm having trouble too. The latest Engine mod seems to have bad effects on my starts.
