darn....well, have you tried the various diff_fm versions available separately? perhaps one of them will do the trick, or even the Diff_fm from hsfx 7?

yep, sorry mate - you'll just have to accept that you can't use all the mods you'd like, until you upgrade your pc to a higher spec.
i had the same problem a while ago, and the only thing i could do was to get my pc beefed up a bit.
