Main thing is - 3.0 version designed for Asura's DGENpack. It's modpack, created special for my campaigns, so there's no need to insall any other mods - no compatibility problems. Any aircraft or map need for my campaign is include.
Last version for HSFX it's 2.3, and unfortunately, i don't have time to support it. Troubles with "no airfields or points" can be fixed - just open subcampaign Red or Blue template in full mission builder. Find aircraft (must be 1 or 2, sometimes 3) starts in the air. Check this aircraft route - it must be no less than 20 kilometers. Where this aircrafts placed on template, is where enemy will be started in generated missions.

update 08.12.2016 - alternative history
« Reply #218 on: December 08, 2016, 01:00:46 PM »

It is time for some news. Month ago, I wonder new idea to work – small alternative history campaign, at Pacific theater of operations 1945 basis. Main thing is – what if war is never ended on august 15, 1945? In fact, I don’t like alternative history, all this stupid theories about nazis victory, third reich Antarctic bases, japan victory at Midway, etc.

So, why I decide to work on this project? Reason is simple - i found many beautiful aircrafts in DGENpack. It’s late war top performance piston engine aircrafts and very early jets. In reality, most of this aircrafts were produced too late to take part in WWII, and by time of Korean War were retired from service.

I talk about aircrafts like F8F Beercat, F7F Tigercat, Gloster Meteor, Mitsubishi A7M, B7N, Super Corsair variants, various Griffon powered Seafires and Sea Fury and some other. We have really well worked models of them, but I think, we don’t have good use for this aircrafts. Therefore, I decide to create small alternative campaign for this aircrafts, realistic, as it possible :)

Base for this campaign is Plan Downfall. I show you events from 15 august 1945, till December 1945, probably. War will be over, when front line will look like on Plan Downfall map, you can see it on Wikipedia.

Alternative campaign will be released as sequel for my realistic project “Pearl Harbor – Tokyo”. In addition, RAF European campaigns get this continuation after war in Europe is over – as part of "Tiger Force". Sure, RAAF, RNZAF and Japs campaigns will get these alternative operations like final part of historical campaign.

There are no sharp jump from aircrafts of final stages of war to jet fighters. Instead of this, in late august - September 1945, I create transition period, when new aircrafts appears slowly, in small numbers. Only by time of Kyushu invasion, transition to new jets will be fully completed.

At this moment is ready first (transition) part of alternative campaign, 15-30 august, 1945.

P-80 will be main USAAF fighter and fighter bomber. There are combat trials of YP-80 in 49th and 35th Fighter Groups in august, and later, in september, rearmed of all Fighter Groups with P-80A begins. Screenshots, as usual.

Hey Motorhead

I did some testing of the 5AF Heavy Bomber Campaign and I found some errors. First, I am having trouble getting the campaign info and briefings into English. Most everything else is in Russian. Also some of the bugs that were present in the previous version, most notably the bomber takeoff bug and the formation keeping bug. Hope this helps!

It seems that the vast majority of the briefings from for all nations have Russian titles and subtitles, even the stock ones. As for the takeoff bug, it's a bug in which heavy bombers never get off the runway. they will fly at ground level for quite a while and never pull up which often leads to them crashing into buildings, trees, etc. It was a bug that was prevalent in the last version as well.

From official PDF documentation 4.13 version:
"NOTE REGARDING THE USE OF THE B-24: This aircraft historically operated from large
airbases, with typical runway length of 6000 feet (~1800 meters). Solomons maps excluded,
there are few suitable airfields which would allow the safe use of B-24s with both maximum
fuel and bomb loads. For this reason, we suggest the possible solutions to mission builders and
pilots alike:
• use reduced fuel loads
• use reduced bomb loads
• make each AI B-24 take-off from the start of the runway using the taxi-to-takoff feature
• make AI B-24 flights to spawn in the air rather than on the ground
• extend the stock runways with new plates if possible"

Could we say that this behavior is the same for all heavy bombers? Maybe.
And Motorhead: In your Pearl Harbor to Tokyo 3.0 Campaign, I also have the problem that all debriefs, campaigns and subcampaigns are in Cyrillic. I think there is some solution to this, but I can not find it. Could you help me?
And many thanks for the huge effort involved in doing a Mega-campaign like this.
And yes, I use the Asura DGenPack in its latest version. Absolutely stunning. Thank you for that.
Added: I got the problem of "beep" in all campaigns and sub-campaigns. I can't generate any of them, any Country.

@I_commando, search a utility called "Bulk rename utility" and  use that to rename all the *_ru.properties to *.properties. It is done with just three or four clicks and all files are changed in one go!

I have a simple idea ;) Open DGenMOD.ini in root folder of your DGENpack, and find "Language" line. There you must write:
Language=English
Also, i write and translate briefings for New Guinea september 1943 USAAF 5th AF campaign. You can get it here:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/vdzbasm92rhpa6d/PTO43_NewGuinea_09_En_Briefings.rar
In this archive you can find DGenMOD.ini file with english language option turned on.

Thank you very much, Motorhead. Downloaded the archive, installed and no luck. All the campaigns and subcampaigns still showing in cirillic, and hitting generate, only beeps. ::(
Reading the DGen log error, appears this at bottom: Error - can't open Message file DGen\DATA\MessageEn.dat, all time.
