Really stuning, Motorhead!!! Thank you very much 8). And yes!!! Asura's DGen Pack is the best modpack in my opinion. The aircraft selector works like a charm! Absolutely perfect, and with the latest release of IL-2.
I'll wait anxiously the Asura's  DGenpack 2.0.   :)

"DGenPack" update 2.0 release
« Reply #241 on: February 25, 2017, 12:50:17 PM »

By the way, DGenPack new update is released! What we got here? Look at the readme:

DYNAMIC CAMPAIGNS UPDATE FOR DGENpack 2.0

Pacific

The main component of my Dynamic Campaign Package, update 2.0 is the complete transition of US Navy carrier pilot campaign from HSFX to DGENPack. This campaign also improved, by adding many new operations, and splitting some old operations to few smaller parts, to be more realistic and historical correct. New operations, added to US Navy campaign in 2.0:
- Philippines, Samar and Mindanao, September 9-14, 1944
- Philippines, Luzon, September 20-24, 1944
- Philippines, Ormoc bay and Luzon, November 11-14, 1944
- French Indochina, Saigon, January 12, 1945
- Japan, Okinawa, March 23-31, 1945
- Operation "Iceberg", invasion of Okinawa, April 1-6, 1945
- Battle of the East China Sea, April 7, 1945 (sinking of Yamato)

New campaign – CVE carriers

Added new campaign for US Navy fighter and torpedo-bomber based on Casablanca class escort carriers, also known as "Kaiser Coffin's". Campaign include next ops:
- Operation "Galvanic", Tarawa, November-18-23, 1943
- Operation "Flintlock", Kwajalein, January 29, 1944
- Marianas, June 11-13, 1944
- Operation "King II", Philippines invasion, October 19-24, 1944
- Battle off Samar, October 25, 1944
- Philippines, actions off Leyte, October 25-28, 1944
- Operation "Detachment", Battle of Iwo Jima, February 18-22, 1945
- Japan, Okinawa, March 23-31, 1945
- Operation "Iceberg", invasion of Okinawa, April 1-6, 1945

New campaign - Fleet Air Arm (update)

Previously released in reduced version, now FAA campaign updated with few full sized operations. FAA acted here as part of British Pacific Fleet in 1945. New operations included:
- British Pacific Fleet, Formosa, March 26 - April 20, 1945
- British Pacific Fleet, Truk, June 14 - 15, 1945

Eastern Front

Thanks to Aviaskins user reports many errors are now fixed in the Battle of Moscow campaign covering operations on the Soviet-German front from June 1941 until January 1942. Changed cruise speed for aircrafts like R-5 and early IL-2 versions. Previously this aircrafts have cruise speed at the edge of stalling. Now cruise speed increased to normal condition.

Other changes

There is large number of small corrections in DGEN data files. Fixed data files for many aircrafts. For example, removed role "reconplane" for A-20 and B-25 attack versions. Now this aircrafts will play only strike missions. Remove "CBomber" (carrier based horizontal bomber) for SB2C Helldiver. Also torpedo loadout for this plane removed, now Helldiver is carrier based dive bomber, like in reality.

Future Plans

Now I’m work on “Operation Torch” for US NAVY CAG-4 dedicated campaign. I want to show CV-4 Ranger actions in French Morocco in 1942 and Norway in 1943. After that, IJN and IJA campaigns will be added. A Solomon Islands campaign rebuild (with many improvements) is also planned. Brand new campaigns on the Soviet-German front is envisaged. Once the winter version of the «Zapolarye» map is released by Mixx, I will continue this line of dynamic campaigns line, probably for spring or summer 1942.

Skin Credits

In 2.0 I begin to use many skins, for US Navy carrier planes. In 1944-1945 navy squadrons carry special identification symbols, which mark their assignments to certain carrier. Fortunately, famous skinmaker R0NNC0 created almost all this skins for F6F, F4U, SBD and TBF. I use all this skins, and you can see this in campaign.

In 2.0 dynamic campaigns update (Pacific) I used skins from these authors:

F6F, F4U, FM-2, SBD and TBF by R0NNC0
F6F-3 (Fleet Air Arm) by PhilK
SB2C by sgtrock and AGskins

Briefings Translations

I would like to thank to LSA and Zoran Mutzki (“Zoran395” on SAS / “ZRN395” on Aviaskins) for their efforts in briefings translation. Without your help, English version simply would not exist.

There's one more option: download this manual:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/c6pj6sebtj55mld/DGenPACK_UserManual_En.pdf
You find detailed description here, how to download and install 1.3 and 2.0 DGen pack versions, of course, on english.

Hello,

Motorhead, thanks to you and all testers for your work. You're doing a great job!

As a fan of  IJN aviation I'm glad that you're planning to convert for DGENPack also IJN and IJA subcampaigns.

On the previos page of this topic you mentioned about B7A "Grace" in "what-if" campaigns. IRL this aircraft was used in battle. Production started in April/May 1944 (and finished in May 1945). But there wasn't enough aircrafts to rearm Taiho before Battle of the Philippine Sea. So "Grace" was used later as land based torpedo-bomber plane in Yokosuka and 752nd Kokutai's.
So can you include her to your IJN subcampaigns, please? :)

Sure, "Grace" will be available in late war IJN camapaigns, as a land based aircraft.

Thanks! :)
That's a good information for me because "Grace" and A7M "Sam" are my favorite Japan aircrafts.  ;D
