Hi there,Just saw your post.

It seems to me that you have the original Lanc that was created by Ranwers.
The Lanc we are using is  the new one with updated 3D and some other bells and whistles
Just jump over to the section called "Heavies" and you will see it.It should answer any questions you may have.
 Download it and put into you IL2.
 It works in 09,10,11, and 412.
 Sorry about the confusion . I should have given folks the heads up in my text file.

Are we waiting for a "new" Lanc? I have the same problem of a patchwork quilt effect which is a shame as the skins look as thought they will be wonderful.

Here are two tips for you guys that seem to be having problems..

1 - Download and install (or upgrade) your Lancaster bomber with the newest version - IF you do not have the latest version.
The last version is much better and your going to love it.

2 - When you create a skin using this new template, save the skin for your game on a new layer.
First open a new 1024x1024 layer and then drag over the new skin you created from the template .
It is that easy.
Merge files on the new layer and save it in the normal way using the Bright plugin so there will be no loss in colors or details.
You will have a perfect skin with no quilt effect or distortions.

in other words... DO NOT SAVE THE SKIN USING THE ORIGINAL TEMPLATE!
