B-25s from Hanover Street
« on: July 14, 2014, 06:53:23 PM »

So...My part of the Catch-22 pack is pretty much done, the two remaining planes are just sitting there, waiting for their noseart. And well, I figured I should do skins from my favorite war movie with B-25s. This will be a lot easier than the previous one, considering it had less planes and they look almost the same except for the noseart and tail numbers. Anyway, here's a short preview of one of the planes:

My first guess would have been Pearl Harbour(Doolittle raiders) but then it wouldnt have nazi killmarks on it so i pass  :D

Gaston is correct. Casper, I already did a Doolittle Raiders skinpack. Except for the lack of squadron markings (Color of cowl rings), Pearl Harbor's markings were the same.

And here's the star of the movie, 41-51632, better known as "Gorgeous George-Ann"! The aircraft was lost some day between December 25th, 1943, and January 1st, 1944, south of Lyon, France. The sole survivors were the pilot, Lieutenant David Halloran, and Captain Paul Sellinger, a British intelligence officer.

I actually found a crew picture!

Top row (Left to right): Lt. Jerry Cimino (Bombardier/Navigator), Lt. David Halloran (Pilot) and Lt. Martin Hyer (Co-Pilot)
Bottom row (Left to right): Sgt. John Lucas (Turret gunner), Farrell (Tail gunner) and Corp. Daniel Giler

Maty, i edited your thread title so we can see at a glance what planes this is for - simply having a movie title is a bit cryptic, methinks ;)

No problem. But one question: Have you done the B-25 glass thing yet?
