Installed and briefly tested , I can only confirm Western spot about missing runways for Kwajalein airfield....

Bombs , check the correct folder deepth of the plates....they can be used as stand alone folders or installed into 3d folder but you must use only the last folder in that case....

Folder structure for the objects is wrong. I have in my map mods folder a 3do folder. In there are the other folders for buildings, airfields and other objects. In the zip here the folders that are said to be able to dropped into the mods folder which wont work for me. I had to go into each of the three folders and follow them to the airfield folder or the pacific building folder to buildings, then go to my buildings folder in my MapMods/3do/buildings folder and place the folders for the pacific buildings in there and in my  MapMods/3do/airfield folder place the pacific plates folder. Now all objects and airfileds show on the map.

So go into the Marshall Islands Buildings folder and follow the folders untill you find the folder inside named Marshall Islands Buildings. Take that folder and go into your mapmods folder/3do/buildings and place that folder in there. Then go into both the pacific roads and Marshall Islands Plates and follow their folders untill you find the folders inside with the same names and place them in your MapMods/3do/airfield folder. Add the texts to your static.ini and all will work correctly.

As for the Kwajalien runway, there are no runway points, taxi points or parking points. I'm sure it was just an oversite for Dave. These huge maps can be a huge amount of work and its very easy to forget or over look something but I'm sure Dave will make an update when he can.

Thank you again Dave for a very nice map.

Many of your textures replace textures I already have in various folders. Are these different from the ones I have? The ones already installed showed file dates of xx/xx/11 in most cases while yours are all xx/xx/14. I made copies of the old ones to keep and put yours in but, I was just wondering if there will be visible differences on other maps.

Bob,

These textures for the most part should not be doubles of old ones. If you have duplicates, replace them with the ones in the Marshall Islands download. The only ones that might be duplicates will be ones that aren't in "_tex/Tooth_Pacific_Textures/Marshalls/...". Every texture in the Marshalls folder should be a new one.

This is correct, in early 1942 the runways at Kwajalein and Eniwetok were not operational yet as far as I can tell from my research. The US Feb. 1st raid encountered a runway under construction on Kwajalein, but the seaplane base was the only thing operational. The field at Kwajalein was operational later in the year and work began at Eniwetok in Nov. 1942. I am working on the Early 1944 version for the US invasion which will have both runways operational.

Also IMHO it is better to not have trees seperated in the dedicated tex folders.

Except you want to give the end user the choice to sue the old low res trees, as MTO trees by now are available 2048x2048.

The only reason I did this is because I tuned the brightness and saturation of the trees to attempt to blend them with the land textures a little better.

Everyone check out the Marshalls Photos.zip I included when making missions. They have good intel about gun positions, etc.

Well, whattever I typed previously, I cannot get the map to work and after over one hour crashing I call it a day.
Something with the 3do structure is messy and I have no idea what.

Mark was right. ;)

Has anyone else had trouble? Maybe I should mark this as beta until the kinks are worked out?

Well, might have messed it, as I gave the objects a dedicated folder. Cannot exclude I messed it up, but fact is I have a safety sanity limit for me meaning when I try to get something to work over 60 ++ minutes with several crashes, even if I myself messed up :-[, I call it a day. :D ;)

The log simply said it could not load the called for structure, as I changed it to what I found logical, again CTD.

Anyway, I'm off here, good luck gents! :) !

When I try to unzip the Marshall Islands buildings and plates, it tells me I need a password. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone else noticed this? Any help appreciated.

I didn't put a password on it so you shouldn't need one. Maybe check your local settings?
