Dave, we don't generally delete requests, unless there was some issue, and i don't see how there would be an issue with this request.
this is if it's done in the proper requests section, that is - if you requested it in some other section, then the chances are better that it might have been deleted in some house-cleaning, etc.
again, the request is good, so it'd be great if one of the guys here will make a proper request for this.
i'm keen for some more historically viable requests, as some of the recent requests really have strayed from the path of what is more useful to the game, to the more obscure, and i'd love to get some focus back on stuff that is actually useful to us....

Here is a first mission for this brilliant map; I tried to make it historical:

1 February 1942.   Admiral Halsey ordered  the heavy cruisers USS Salt Lake City and USS Northampton along with a destroyer and 6 fighters as cover to bombard the enemy bases in and around Kwajalein.   Expecting little enemy resistance at Roi, Admiral Halsey sent his remaining cruiser USS Chester in-shore to bombard the enemy island while aircraft from Air Group 6 hit the airfield. As VB6 had departed to attack Roi, and Torpedo 6 was on it's way hitting enemy shipping at Kwajalein, around 0615 hours twelve VF were launched, six to attack Wotje and six to attack Maloelap. These islands were considerably closer than Kwajalein so the later launching still enabled the attacks to be synchronized. You will be striking Maloelap, where the Japanese are supposedly constructing an airfield. Loadout: 100kg bombs.

NB: Mission time was set at 07.15 as I don't like flying in the dark.  ;-)

Dave, we don't generally delete requests, unless there was some issue, and i don't see how there would be an issue with this request.
this is if it's done in the proper requests section, that is - if you requested it in some other section, then the chances are better that it might have been deleted in some house-cleaning, etc.
again, the request is good, so it'd be great if one of the guys here will make a proper request for this.
i'm keen for some more historically viable requests, as some of the recent requests really have strayed from the path of what is more useful to the game, to the more obscure, and i'd love to get some focus back on stuff that is actually useful to us....

Has anyone encountered any issues when creating, testing, or running mission on this map? I've had a few crashes in the last couple of days, just wondering if anyone had the same issue.

I Thought it might be My Computer and it still might be but Pertaining to this Map. I had Issues Saving at first. (changed my BldConf.ini by deleting the line (builder.PlMisDestruction), Modifying a Saved Campaign sometimes gives me issues Deselecting  an Object ( right click Deletes the Object ) or Pressing Ctrl Deletes the Object. No Crashes or glitches Testing I Have VF-6 Flight of 12 F4F-3 Launching from CV-6 Enterprise at 06:15  Weather in Game Blind Gusts Low Turbulence Low Wind 90 Degrees True. Launch Point from around 10 -00 N. Lat. 170-00 East Long. as it appears compared to the track of the Enterprise that morning. 6 Attack Wotje and 6 attack Maloelap (Taroa ) I have the Three Northhampton Class Cruisers For Spruance's Bombardment of Wotje ( No Pensacola Class For the U.S.S. Salt Lake City ) I have The Flight Paths so at 07:00 Everyone drops out of the Sunrise and into the Soup. The Players Flight of two Wildcats Drops two One Hundred Lbs. Bombs Instant-Fuse on The Misidentified Island of Ollot ( fog Related ) and the rest hammer the Parked Planes as Six A5M4 Claudes spawn and Take-Off where the Air-Combat Ensues. This So Far Has Worked even after Modifications but with the above mentioned hiccups. And of Course this is only a tiny part of the Raid.

I get the same thing with HSFX 7.0.3; mission not saving thus missing objects. For some reason I can't get the universal static.ini checker to work, although I used to be able to. Brain fade, probably  . Anyone else identified the missing Objects?

I recently made a new 4.12.2m MODACT 5.30 version of the game and installed all my mod maps, then ran a static ini checker on them. All of the following modded objects are in at least one of my maps, so if you add these entries to your static.ini and then add the right mods to your MODS folder you should be able to load and save missions on my maps:

Remember, the above list was created after comparing the static objects in my mod maps with the stock static objects list. There is a chance that some of these could be duplicates of other objects already present in your static.ini. The static ini checker should be able to determine this. After you've got the entries in your static.ini, add the following mods and .sfs files to load with your game:

I started creating maps back during the UltraPack 3 days, so I retained the following 4 sfs files that contain the modded objects I used. I don't have enough space to upload the sfs files to my dropbox. However, I suspect that the above link to Boomer's objects pack will contain the objects you'll need.

The old UP objects packs I still have are these:

up_objects03.sfs
up_objects04.sfs

Let me know if that works for you guys.
