Hello guys, just a quick info update:

For those who have not been able to get the mod working in HSFX 7 please try this:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,38980.0.html

If you use one aircraft mod at a time the MB-174 will work quite happily, however, there seems to be some limit as to how many can be added together at the same time into
HSFX 7.

For me it is a single mod, the Potez family or the MB-174, others though have had more success. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Thanks Pete! ;D

Hi all! Please, can someone make a 4.09 conversion of this great plane, just to make a pair with the great Potez 63 family (after all, this mod come out first and it's very unique in its design). And please, don't say "ask to a well known guardian angel", I already did it and I took a clear "No". So any other noble 4.09 modder will be much appreciated, I think this beauty deserves a conversion as it is now. As always, thank you in anticipation. :D

Wrong!
I did not say "no"!
I said: "The MB-174 and A-26B does not suit me much." ... for now!
In the current state there are many things to do. I await updates of authors!
Is that clear?

...and also the Potez family is getting updated frequently (and this is great for the mod! :) ), and there's always a rapid 4.09 conversion without waiting further updates or final release...but there's no criticism or shame in it, this is modding world, and everyone is free to mod what he likes and ignore what he dislikes (after all, it's an hobby, not a job :) ) So my request is for all people that likes the mod like it is now and prefer a quick-temporary conversion instead of waiting months-years or maybe never coming updates. And then we'll wait for your final conversion when the mod will be fully done and completed. :)
Hope it's clearer for you now. (by the way, still thanks for your conversions, and obviously thanks to the author of the original mod)

Sorry guys we have not looked at this mod for quite some time. :-[

Could you please put up a list of the changes you feel are necessary Gabriel and I will have a look at them. ;)

I know we need to add two wing guns, from the drawings I saw yesterday it would appear they are in the wings just outboard of the engine nacelles, could someone please confirm that as I cannot see anything in the photographs I looked at.

I will also need to remove the existing nose gun and cover the recess.

On some aircraft, not all, there is a turret/gun position of some kind underneath.  Is that a automatic fixed gun firing rearwards or is it on a flexible mount and operated by the gunner manually from his existing position?

This is something we also need for the Potez versions although as with the MB-174 it does not appear on all from the photographs I have seen, could anyone please confirm the use of these turrets for Bloch and Potez aircraft?

At the moment the Potez family keeps me awake at night, everytime I think I have finished with it Alex gives me a new list of changes. :D

As for a 4.09 conversion, sorry, I leave those for Master Epervier, it is a part of the sim I have not yet tried to mod although I do have my old UP.2 still in working order.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Fixed guns - not turrets - French liked to put these kind of rear firing guns "deterrent guns" whenever they could on their planes.

Hello guys, just a quick update on this as it continues to develop. ;)

Alex has added guns to the nose and wings from references he has, I have added them in the java.

The 3d cover for the gun recess that I made for the Potez family does not fit the Bloch so will need a little alteration.

Everything still needs to be positioned. :D

I have changed the loadout from the previous Japanese bombs to French, although the capacity has changed to suit
what is available:

We have rear firing guns, alas they need positioning correctly:

Things to do, lots. :D

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Update now finalised, I hope. ;)

Rearward sliding canopy:

Wing guns only, those for the nose previously shown have been removed:

Rearward firing guns:

A very special thank you to Epervier for java information on the cockpit opening. 8)
