Actually we can use this to escape from enemy territory. Provided that distance to front line is not too big!  8)
I'll see how it goes on some  Sands of Time desert map mission where I have a lot of enemy ground units ;)
With one beer or so while running I think I can make it!

Is it possible to get this without the visual mod? Visual mod will not even let my game start at all.. so no log file. :( But it never starts or even tries to with this installed. trying in 4.12.2

  No, sorry. VisualMOD is the result of a long evolution, and quite robust and stable right now. I don't know what could be your problem with it, but there are several utilities I have embedded on it that make it very difficult to implement things independently.

Pablo, i suspect that the guys who can't get it to run at all, have some other incompatible mods installed.
judging from some of the error log info i've seen posted by some with this problem, i'm sure of it.
they will need to go through their error logs and provide us with this info, as we can't help without it.
this Visual Mod is working 100% on each and every 4.12.2 version i have, no problem.
for those with such issues, why not try this on a clean modact 5.3 game?
i bet a month's wages it will work first time. ;)

Figured it out, just started deactivating important looking stuff. :D

It conflicts with the this folder in my #SAS: "-!0_PAL-Chocks_EngineMOD27_4122"

Which is sad, because I love the chocks...  :(
