Hello Dreamk, thank you very much for the information, greatly appreciated. 8)

From what info we already had this is what we are proposing at the moment for three types:

Potez 630: Two forward firing 20mm and one rear flexible 7.5.  No bombs.

Potez 631: Two forward firing 20mm and one rear flexible 7.5.  No bombs.  (One cannon and One mg on some, the current option with the download.)

Potez 633: It should be three 7.5 mg forward firing and two rear, some references quote only one firing forward. We currently have one in the nose and one rear flexible.  Eight 110lb bombs carried internally.

Master Bison has now managed to line things up for the cannon pods so we can implement the two 20mm finally. 8)

Still need to sort out how to colour those cannon pods.

Notes:

There were versions of the Potez 630 that flew with four forward firing machine guns due to unavailability of cannons.  From what I see of images that is two in the nose and two pods underneath.  A possible option here could be using the KAIK0 nose guns with the gunpods we now have.  I would probably need to make a specific slot for that one though and we have not tried it out yet.

Cannons and mgs:

We are stuck with the recess for the default cannon in the lower fuselage so that is to be the forward firing mg for the Potez 633 we think, I have no reference to actually show where it is.

You will appreciate that removing the cannon can probably be done by hiding it, the recess though would mean surgery in gmax. :D

So, seeing as we may be stuck with that particular weapon and the recess, my proposal is to use it with the two cannons rather than leave it idle or have the recess devoid of anything. ;)

Not sure about the second rearward mg, any thoughts on that would be appreciated.

The bombs in the 633 are currently dropping from a point within the fuselage, I moved the two bombspawns currently available closer together and upwards.

I have no intention to actually cut bomb bays into the fuselage and have opening doors, more likely I will paint on the skin where they should be, again another bit of major surgery unless we could borrow something from another aircraft.

I have seen photographs of Greek Potez 633s with two centre line racks, however, that means no internal bombay if we implement that, it provides a second option though if I can alter the position which would be used by the two Ki-45 racks to the centre of the aircraft one behind the other.

Wing cannon pods at the moment I do not have a option for, they were used on the Potez 631, not sure about the others.  the Ki-45 does not have anything hung from the wings so any suggestions as to how we could go about that would be appreciated.

All the above is what we are experimenting with, the final option will depend on what we are able to manipulate or add to the original 3d.

Any photographs or diagrams of those weapon options such as bomb racks would be greatly appreciated, I can find descriptions of how they were armed but no good references.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Thank you very much for this desired french plane!   ;D

By Potez -633 bombs were located on the underwing consoles?

I found no pictures or something else, but here is some info I found:

Bomber variants

Potez 633 B2
two-seater, light level bomber. The Potez 633 retained the fuselage, wings and engines of the 631 but the observer's position and cannon gondolas were deleted and a small bomb bay was added between the pilot and rear gunner. Front armament consisted of a single light machine gun in the nose. The bomb bay could house eight 50 kg-class or two 200 kg (440 lb) -class bombs. There was no bombardier position, as the rear gunner was supposed to direct the bombing run through a periscopic bombsight fitted ahead of him, a disposition that proved unworkable in the field.
Potez 633.01
The first two-seat bomber prototype flew in late 1937. The Armée de l'air ordered 133 Potez 633s in 1938, but two months later decided all aircraft in the light level bomber category should be 3-manned, like the Douglas DB-7 and Bloch MB.175. The French order for 633s was converted into an order for more 631s. The 633 was however offered for export and attracted orders from Romania, China and Greece.

Potez 632 Bp.2
One example of the dive bomber prototype was started, but completed as a 633 however with Hispano-Suiza engines. It was sold to Switzerland for evaluation.
Potez 639 AB2
The single two-seat attack bomber prototype was converted as a standard 633.

The two (in tandem) center-line bomb racks were for BE 33 flares (one each for each bomb rack) and were poitioned between the under fuselage gun gondolas - see attached photo.

However the original drawings of the Potez 631 show positioning of bomb racks under the wing roots (1 under each wing root) and under the outer wings (2 under each outer wing, instead of the gun gondolas)
I have not found photo evidence for this configuration on operational aircraft.
However there are operational reports that 63.11 series aircraft were indeed equipped with one 50kg bomb under each outer wing section.

Hello guys, glad you are happy with these, enjoy. 8)

For those who have not been able to get the mod working in HSFX 7 please try this:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,38980.0.html

I tried it today and for the first time I actually got a mod aircraft to fly in my HSFX 7 install. ;)

When you set France in the HSFX Red option please be aware you actually need to pick a squadron or you just get the default
Soviet markings because of the original Normandie squadron.

This is the only aircraft I have added so far to my HSFX install and it seems to work ok for me in normal or expert, however, I am new to
using HSFX so I cannot guarantee the Potez family will work correctly with other mods.

Test at your own risk. :D

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
