Solomons Marauders
« on: August 17, 2014, 01:35:12 PM »

This is a 13-mission campaign flying the B-26 Marauder based on Guadalcanal, 1942-43. The Marauders were the first medium bombers in the South Pacific and helped stem the tide of Japanese forces in the Solomon Islands.

NOTE: Must have IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 v4.12 During each mission, the last three planes in the squadron will use the taxi to takeoff method. If you want to taxi a bomber then you must start as a Flight Officer or 1st Lieutenant.

Link to mods required? I read something about a Zero mod and a US Pilots mod.

Sorry,  here is a link to the A6M Zeros mod:  https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,10774.0.html

The "US Pilots" is not actually a mod but rather paintscheme skins for US pilots (which is not necessary for the campaign to work).

Where can that be found? Also, would my B-26s skins be helpful for this campaign?

Nice!

I love the subject matter. Are these short or long wing B-26s? If they are long, are they the correct historical versions?

Not like it matters. Nice work.
