Hello folks,

I am now getting some very nice maps , tons of thanks go to Cyberolas, vpmedia, SAS_Tom...and many other!!!!

Now I wish to make some offline mission for myself to play with.

Last time I was trying to place an aircraft carrier in the map and put some aircrafts on the deck.  BUT, as soon as the mission starts, they all keep dropping into the sea!

What am I missing? 

I have 2 installations:
1) DBW 1.71
2) 4.12.2 + Modact 5.3

Both are having the same problems.!

In FMB, place your initial aircraft near the aircraft carrier, under the Waypoints tab, select "Takeoff" and IIRC there is the "Set" button.  Click on this and you will see a yellow target circle.  Move it onto the carrier icon and select.  The yellow circle should now be "stuck" to the carrier.  This is how the game knows that the aircraft is supposed to take off from the carrier. Then continue placing your waypoints for your flight.
Repeat the process for any other aircraft you want on the carrier.  There is a limit however (8 or 12 I can't remember which).

What am I missing? 

from the sounds of it, you're missing the basic info that ships with the original game, i.e: the manual, readme and such.
i'd advise learning how to use the stock game features properly at least, before climbing into the deep end with mods....

Thanks both of you, for your information.  I have been searching for answers via google but in vain.

I have made it at long last!

My first attempt was with the English Channel Map Channel_40, it never accepts placing aircraft on deck, try it for yourself, I also want someone to confirm.

But I have success with other maps like Norway (stock map) and also Crete (Modded map).  See the images attached, that's from Crete and the sunset is so beautiful!

Having said that, I still want to have success with the English Channel map.
