Thanks ! These Lockheed planes are cloaing a gap !

Had the same problem as Is with CTD in 4.10/DBW (L-10 only), with the correct FM file.

I tried to replace the 410 fm by the 409-412 one... and it works ! no CTD, and I can fly the plane !

EDIT: Problem with Electra L10 in DBW 1.71 (Super Electra L14 works perfect).
Electra L10 causes 70% CTD.
Help, please (I must have this plane  >:( >:( >:()

are not very prepared, but the CTD occurs when loading the game or load the plane? for the second hypothesis, it could be the FM, the FM you used the right patch? find them in the folder with the number of patches, for the first case and on the other hand can a corrupt class.

CTD occurs when loading the game. I've tried everything (even changing fm file as Gaston suggested, trying all fm versions), but it doesn't work. What to do? Maybe somebody could take a look at attached log.lst (I don't know anything about reading it  :()?

a chance perhaps naive, you have installed the folder [Electra]or the folder  [Lockheed Electra], the first and only one container that the game does not read. I do not think your case but better to be sure and ask, usually the CTD to 70% occurs by a conflict between Class.

 As Gio has mentioned, is it possible that when you decompressed a extra level of folders was created?
When you open you Electra folder you should see a 3do sub-folder and classfiles. If you open it and only see one folder, the decompress program you used created one level of folders to many.
I am sure the plane works in DBW, that is what Gio uses.

Great looking planes.  Thanks for the hard work but i have an interesting bug.  The Hudson and Super Electra fly fine but the Electra overheats it's engines from the moment it spawns.  They overheat even if i turn them off at the start of flight.  I'm using 4.12.1 with Modact 5.22
  My apologies if this is a noob question but this is my first bug post and basically am a noob at this.  I understand IL2 is not an easy game to mod and all you modders are geniuses in my opinion to have done what you have.

Me too with DBW. I just un-check the Engine Overheat   button, and it works fine.

Thanks for the reply.  glad to know it is not just my install.  i did some testing and in QMB, if i ground start in a scramble mission they do not overheat.  In a mid air start my engine temp gauges (oil, manifold etc...) are all way up from the beginning.   Since the Super Electra is fine, I wonder if there is a config or setting I could copy to the Electra to solve the prob or if it is something in the QMB mission setting that is effecting the plane?

Hello CW,

no, folders structure is OK, I've checked it.
I tried both FM versions, too....
I am sure the plane works in DBW in general too  :), but not in my DBW 1.71 setup :(.
Btw, I have tested it in my PRE-DBW2 install, it works!
So, I suppose that must be a conflict with one of many another mods which I have in my DBW 1.71 install.
Is there any method to check this possibility of conflicting classes (except eliminating one by one other mods)?
