I got an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @2.33GHz, 3,5 GB RAM and an NVIDIA GE Force 9400GT graphic card; are my specs more or less matching yours? Do you running TFM 412 well? Maybe i need to lower the in game graphic settings?
I would like to know if it worth to install TFM 412 or not...

Hi Citizen,
My machine is worse than yours.
I have a dual core with a slightly higher clock speed (2.66Ghz) but only an integrated graphics card!
Given how ancient and underpowered my machine is, it is not surprising that the new feature rich 412 TFM campaigns (Battle of Battle & Four days) do not play nicely.
However, I would say that older campaigns running under 412 are smoother.
It might be my install of 412TFM (I had a lot of difficulty downloading the Claymore FW pack) and after installing that pack the load time really slows down.
It was a a real dog to install TFM via the JGSME to the point it took around 5 hours to install 3 or four packs. So it took many nights effort. That said, apart from an error with the 3d modelling on the jeep and kubelwagen and missle selection on the jets. Everything else worked fine.
You could do what I've done...
I have an install of 412TFM and another install of 412 Modact 5.3 which I use to make a tailored installation copying parts from the TFM install. This is my 'lite' version and test bed to try out combinations.
412 is a vast improvement over 4.10 and it's worth upgrading in my opinion even though you are losing DBW.
Anyhow, I might be a bit weird as I probably get more fun out of testing and installing stuff than actually playing the game!
Should you install 412 TFM? YES!
Try it out. You may be surprised how well it does work on your machine. You will probably need to experiment lowering your graphical settings and compressing textures to get decent FPS. The other thing I do is make sure clouds are turned off increase frame rates.
In any case, what have you got to lose? Apart from a lot of HDD space!
