I created my own folder for the new 3d pit fixes by Jero and add all updates in that one folder then;
and to be honest, I did not have a probem with those fixes yet in my DBW install; I do not use the Mig-3 folder as I have the updated pit for that bird and I miss the Corsair hood 3d fix but those Corsair balls are just to good looking to not use them;
the F-80 fixes work just as great, provided you also create a YP-80N folder and copy all the YP-80 stuff into it; and make sure to load all the fixes BEFORE any other 3d fixes;

As expected -as these 3D fixes are meant for 4.12 and HSFX - there are some issues in DBW 1.71 with the I-16:

I-16 Type 10/I-16 Type 17/I-16 Type 29 --> still old cockpit
I-16 Type 18/I-16 Type 24/I-16 Type 27/I-16 Type 28 --> issue with canopy frame
I-16 Type 24 (SPB) --> mission loads up to 100% but only blue landscape and clouds visible and not able to play the game

Just to let you DBW players know.  ;)

Good news though: I-16 Type 5/I-16 Type 5 (SPB)/I-16 Type 6 work fine.

Thank you very much, this is the best reward for my work.

BTW, I've checked in some files I have dBW which in this facility there is an I-16type29 folder, anyone could try duplicating the folder I-16 of this mod and renaming it I-16type29, thank you.

Sorry if already asked, but wondering if in the near future there will be a bundle download

Better not please!  ???

+1 (Why download and install a whole bunch when you may need only half a dozen?)

Respectfully,
GB

hello Jero!

first of all, thank you very very much for your ongoing support and release of new stuff! looks wonderful, especially the Corsair pit :)

now for the I-16, renaming the folder as suggested to type29 did not help though unfortunately...I can confirm what has been posted already about using the I-16 files in a DBW environment..

Thanks Uufflakke, am has see if I can fix it.

That would be more than great.  8)
The I-16 turned out to be one of my most favourite planes. (The lack of this little plane, plus a couple of other issues of course, are the main reasons BOS is not on my wish list. Santa Claus can pass my house with it's DVD. But that is another discussion  ;)).
You won't here me complaining if you can not solve it or don't have time to fix it. 'Cause these 3D fixes are meant basically for 4.12 and HSFX as stated in your original post.

As mentioned before I agree 100% with the line 'we (and I mean the whole IL-2 community) have to thank you for all the efforts you put into this wonderful mods so much people enjoy.'
Engines, props, wheels, cockpits. Do you ever sleep by the way?!?  :D

Hi Jeronimo - thank you again for these great mods.  The improvement is splendid overall but especially noticeable among the old cockpits like the Yaks, MiGs and I-16s.

Ok, the Yak skins runs in "4.10 & DBW" too - without the Yak-7 UTI (the trainer cockpit - no wondering)!

If you have installed the amazing "Yak-1 mod" done by Red_Fox90... (hello R.F. my good friend):

Copy the "Yak-1(Fairing)" folder from Jeros mod. Open Red_Fox's Yak-1 mod\ 3do\ Cockpit and rename

the folder to "Yak-1(Fairing)" to "-Yak-1(Fairing)_orig".

Now paste the "Yak-1(Fairing)" from Jeros mod in Red_Fox90's mod and all is done.

Gerhard

bomberkiller - thank you for the tip above, although I'd like to point out that if one just copy the Body.msh (and rename to Body_49.msh) from the Jero's Yak-1 fairing folder into Red_Fox's cockpit mod one would lose the cosmetic improvement that Red_Fox made below - although you would still get Jero's improvements on the smoothed instruments.  So there is a trade-off.

Many thanks to all!

I think your joke is a bit too harsh. If you look at my specs, you can see how old is my rig. Taking in account that I overloaded my IL-2 install (in addition to UP2.01) with 44 mods (for a total of 4.64 GB), you may understand how loading of my game currently requires 4 (four) minutes! I must make some choice. Since I can't watch, e.g., Corsair cockpit that I never fly in game... why to load?

Hope I make myself understood.
